Didn't QOTSA sell 35k? Thought that was decent for the period it was released!!

Yes, a decent 32k and sales will probably be enough for a place in Top 100 of Y/E Sales (although last year #100 needed 71.5k, I suppose that will be less this year though).

Its not too bad then and the first week was slightly above average for the year I would say discounting the obv Eds etc.

8. Tom Chaplin - Twelve Tales Of Christmas

Would be nice to see this get a Top 20 peak (overall) this week after it previously peaked at #21. Doubt it but nice boost after his appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show'.

Yeh the single is top 50 on iTunes - I love the Sia album more but Toms is very good, except for the covers of Stay another Day and 2000 Miles!
Taylor being £6.99 is a good tactic in order to keep her album selling. I have a feeling she'll get a good gift card effect alongside Little Mix as well who I imagine will rise on the iTunes charts come Christmas Day.

Apple Music Albums:

Noticed 'Greatest Hits II' by Queen has been significantly higher (#56) than 'Greatest Hits' by Queen (#109) this Christmas when for the rest of the year it is the other way round, guess it is a pricing thing.
The Critics Faves (based on End Of Year Lists) ready to improve their position as we approach NYE and into New Year:

93. Lorde - Melodrama

163. LCD Soundsystem - American Dream

235. Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

250. The War On Drugs - A Deeper Understanding

320. The National - Sleep Well Beast

336. SZA - Ctrl

466. St. Vincent - MASSEDUCATION

All making decent progress (apart from LCD Soundsystem):

50. Lorde - Melodrama ( 43 places )

97. Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. ( 138 places )

125. The War On Drugs - A Deeper Understanding ( 125 places )

128. St. Vincent - MASSEDUCATION ( 338 places )

178. LCD Soundsystem - American Dream (down 15 places)

260. The National - Sleep Well Beast ( 60 places )

302. SZA - Ctrl ( 34 places )

Suspect majority will continue to rise into New Year when there is more appetite for new music.

Some great albums there - have Lorde/LCD Soundsystem/St Vincent/Kendrick/War on drugs!
