Biography

Abél Makkonen Tesfaye (born 16 February 1990), known professionally as The Weeknd (pronounced "the weekend"), is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer. In late 2010, Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd". He released three nine-track mixtapes throughout 2011: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, which were critically acclaimed. The following year, he released a compilation album Trilogy, thirty tracks consisting of the remastered mixtapes and three additional songs. It was released under Republic Records and his own label XO.

In 2013, he released his debut studio album Kiss Land, which was supported by the singles "Kiss Land" and "Live For". His second album, Beauty Behind the Madness, which became his first number one album on the US Billboard 200, included the top-five single "Earned It" and produced the number-one singles "The Hills" and "Can't Feel My Face". The songs have simultaneously held the top three spots on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, making him the first artist in history to achieve this. The Weeknd has won two Grammy Awards and has been nominated for an Academy Award. In September 2016, the release of the third album, Starboy was announced, along with the release of the tracks "Starboy" and "False Alarm". - Wikipedia

Biography

Neiked is the pseudonym of Swedish producer and songwriter Victor Rådström. Perhaps best known for his work with Swedish pop stars Miriam Bryant and Elin Bergman, Rådström decided to branch out on his own. His first release came at the end of 2015 with the single Cowboy. A mix of organic pop and electronica, the single featured vocals from fellow Swede Thomas Stenström. The follow-up, Sand & Lead, appeared in early 2016 with a third single, Sexual, appearing a few months later. Featuring the vocal talents of London-based Dyo, Sexual peaked at number 32 in the Swedish singles chart, while also placing in the Irish, Norwegian, and U.K. charts. - iTunes

Biography

James Andrew Arthur (born 2 March 1988) is a British singer and songwriter who won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012. His debut single, "Impossible", was released by Syco Music after the final and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart in its first week of release. It has since gone on to sell over 1,289,000 copies in the UK, and 2.5 million copies worldwide. The follow-up single "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You" reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. He released his self-titled debut studio album in November 2013. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

After the release of his debut studio album James Arthur, he was involved in a series of controversies. This led iTunes to offer refunds for the album. The single release "Recovery" made to number 19, while the sales for the fourth single "Get Down" hardly made the top 100. Arthur parted ways with Simon Cowell's record label Syco in 2014. In 2015, he signed a new deal with Columbia Records to release his second studio album in 2016, titled Back from the Edge. Arthur was also re-signed to Syco in 2016. - Wikipedia

Biography

Dancehall superstar Sean Paul began scoring hit singles in Jamaica in 1996 and steadily attracted international attention thereafter, eventually breaking into the pop mainstream in 2002 with Dutty Rock. Born Sean Paul Henriques on January 8, 1973, the multi-ethnic Paul (his parents had Portuguese, Chinese, and Jamaican forebears) grew up comfortably in St. Andrew, Jamaica, his mother a renowned painter. He was a skilled athlete, excelling in swimming and especially water polo, playing for the Jamaican national team in the latter. Although his education was enough to land him a prosperous career, dancehall music remained Paul's first love, particularly crafting rhythm tracks. He became a DJ after he began writing his own songs, patterning his style largely after Super Cat and finding a mentor in Don Yute; he also found contacts in several members of the reggae-pop band Third World in 1993, which helped open up business connections. Paul released his debut single, "Baby Girl," with producer Jeremy Harding in 1996; it proved a significant success, leading to further Jamaican hits like "Nah Get No Bly (One More Try)," "Deport Them," "Excite Me," "Infiltrate," and "Hackle Mi." In 1999, Sean Paul started to make inroads to American audiences; he was first commissioned to collaborate with fellow dancehall hitmaker Mr. Vegas on a production for rapper DMX; titled "Here Comes the Boom," the song was included in director Hype Williams' film Belly. Also that year, Paul scored a Top Ten hit on the Billboard rap charts with "Hot Gal Today." Unfortunately, Paul had a very public falling out with Mr. Vegas over the packaging of the latter's remix of "Hot Gal Today"; still, it didn't slow Paul's career momentum, as he played the Summer Jam 2000 in New York City, the center of his American popularity. That fall, Paul released his first album on VP Records; the sprawling Stage One collected many of Paul's previous hit singles and compilation cuts, plus a few brand-new tracks. Dutty Rock (2002) and The Trinity (2005) were extremely successful. Both albums peaked in the Top Ten of the album chart and featured a handful of mainstream smashes. His 2009 release Imperial Blaze featured the singles "So Fine" and "Hold My Hand," the latter a duet with Keri Hilson. The loose Odyssey Mixtape dropped in 2011 and was followed a year later by Tomahawk Technique, a more pop and dance-oriented album with production from the likes of Stargate, DJ Ammo, and Benny Blanco. In 2012, he collaborated with CongoRock and Stereo Massive on the single "Bless Di Nation." In 2013, he announced details of Full Frequency, his sixth studio album, which was released in early 2014. The singles "Other Side of Love," "Entertainment," "Turn It Up," and "Want Dem All" were released in preparation for the record. - iTunes

But they played You Want Me?

Because it was number 26.

I've seemed to notice they always play number 25/26 as it fits nicely around the news break.

Numbers 40 and 11 also seem to get played no matter what

So James Arthur is up 2 to 12 and they didn't play it, yet they played Mercy which climbed from 40 to 39? (not complaining though :heehee: )

Amazing jump for No Lie, Top 10 looks a certainty next week! :o :D

Nothing dropped out of the top 10
