October 10, 200618 yr I'd agree with the first 3, but poor Beyonce, you just don't like her do you ;) He loves her really. It really explains why he keeps saying she's fat/slagonce (worse name ever) and untalented. He's probably jealous because he'll never get a woman like her so slates her, saying she's fat like a childish schoolboy would. :)
October 10, 200618 yr Steve 'Silk' Hurley - made #1 in 1987 with Jack Your Body, but should not have reached #1 as one of the formats broke the chart rules at the time.

That said, I can't see how anyone doesn't like Beyonce. She's far better looking than any of the scrawny bints that front some of the dance songs...
October 10, 200618 yr That said, I can't see how anyone doesn't like Beyonce. She's far better looking than any of the scrawny bints that front some of the dance songs... Have to agree with that. To be honest, I think she's one pop star who does 'deserve' her chart toppers. She is probably among the best of this whole pop-urban/pop-R&B thing that has been pretty dominant this decade. Even her worst number one, Deja Vu, isn't awful, it's just a lazy rehash of Crazy In Love, which like it or not will probably be remembered as one of the defining hits of the decade. She's certainly had a lot copy off her. Euro Music hates that particular genre if I remember rightly though.
October 10, 200618 yr I think Beyonce is atrocious - but yeh 'Crazy In Love' is a defining song of the decade so she deserved that I guess. DeJa Vu was just UGH though as is everything else she releases. Oh and I can name many an act that should never have been #1 now - Chico, Westlife, McFly...
October 10, 200618 yr None - I may not like a number one but if enough people have bought a song then it deserves to be number one. That's how the charts work...
October 10, 200618 yr Most of them that get a #1 nowadays. not just nowdays m8, #1's have often appealed to the soppy cheese merchants who prefer slush or a party time no-brainer over anything of any substance...
October 10, 200618 yr Razorlight and all these other talentless NME hypes (exc Arctic Monkeys) that only get there because the magazine told them to buy it, and also boy bands.
October 10, 200618 yr Beyonce She is awful!! aww... I would like to say I wouldn't kick her out of bed, but that's quite sexist ( ). So I'll say... er, I like her music!
October 11, 200618 yr Westsh*te. Interesting fact - Almost every Westlife no.1 has been released during a slow week. Seriously, if you look up no.1s on wikipedia, where it tells you the sales for each no.1, Westlife's are always slightly lower than the previous no.1s. The only exception to this is Christmas Gah.. I f**kin' hate Christmas :(

For talented recent R&B acts think Mary J Blige, Alicia Keys, Faith Evans For early R&B I think Aretha & Gladys Knight. Edited October 12, 200618 yr by Euro Music
October 11, 200618 yr OASIS. I was trying to think who else :D at last, someone who agrees!!!! I thought i was the only person who consider this band grossly overrated
