Time to make your predictions! Most of us haven't heard the track yet, but how do you think it might do both in week 1 and in the long run?

 

(let's face it, it's very unlikely to debut/peak lower than top 40 in either region)

 

My bets:

 

UK week 1: Top 3

UK peak: #1

 

US week 1: Top 5

US peak: #1

 

Really hard to call without hearing the song though!

I think could easily be #1 in the US now I've heard it. UK top 3 for possibly, but #1 isn't out of the question with the video coming too.

it seems they're really going all-out for the first week promo, but I don't think it'll be enough to dethrone Ed Sheeran on week 1 in the UK though it'll probably climb the following week.

After hearing it and seeing its early floppage on itunes, I stand by my predix.

Uk Week One: 35

Uk peak: 13

 

Us Week 1: 15

Peak: 8

 

I don't think you're wrong tbh. I can't see this being big.

Well it's very likely that this will debut top 10. I can see this eventually becoming a top 5 hit! Regardless of the peak, it will have great longevity I'm sure!
I expected the video to drop this week so I guess the peaks are lower than expected but it's projected to go to #5 in the US and #8 in the UK which isn't bad.
