Still discounted which is nice but even the smallest little promo slot would be much appreciated at this point cause the song is pretty much stalling.

It's still in the 59p batch too, and it's now #2 on Spotify Hot Hits. A promo slot really could push it top 10, but is there anything even available that'd give it a boost?

Still A list on r1 and moved up slightly on Capital. Also up 1 to #23 on Spotify.

 

I think top 10 is out of reach but it could sneak to like 13/14?

All it needs is one performance.

I think this could benefit from the weekend effect more this week. I don't think it'll drop quite as much as it does the last few weeks, so hopefully as the new entries tail off, it'll put them in position for a decent placing int he top 10 again, before the new entries benefit from airplay etc.. on Monday.

I think we can call this a decent enough hit now. Along the lines of Love Me Like You and DNA. I was hoping it'd be more Secret Love Song/Hair/Salute in how big it is though.

They were pre-album though. 'Salute' was post-album so it was harder for it to become the hit it was. (Plus, it's a staple inside the iTunes top 1500! Always seems to be the one in their catalogue to benefit the most whenever they have promo)

Yeah, that's true. I knew what Joe meant though. 'Salute' does feel like it was bigger than its overall sales/peak would suggest.

I'm sure Salute would have sold much more if it had the same chart run in the 2016/17 sales climate! Yeah it feels like one of their most remembered songs for me, behind their lead singles, Touch and SLS. Definitely in my LM top 5 *.*

 

It would've been nice for this to get a higher peak (not sure if it'll beat #16) but as long as it has good longevity I'm happy.

 

Salute is more remembered than Wings and even possibly Move these days. We don't actually know updated sales for it, but it would indeed have sold a lot more in 16/17.

I wish it'd been the lead single for the 'Salute' era -- it would've been huge imo.

 

On another note, NMSS is back in the iTunes top 10 at #9.

Given the fact that NMSS is back at 9 on iTunes, and it seems slightly more stable on spotify I feel like we may have a new potential peak this week, I'd predict around 14, but I'd love for it to be slightly higher

Knew the weekend effect would start benefitting them more now it's been in the charts a couple of weeks. Excellent to see. Really hope they can get a new peak inside the top 15!
