I reckon it has potential to go higher in future rates tbh. It's a huge grower and I think I "only" gave it a 9 mainly coz I thought it was too soon to give it any higher! I imagine a lot of others did too!

Time for my personal favourite! The One That Got Away seems to have far surpassed expectations in this rate, ending up in the top 4 with three top scores. This heartfelt ballad was the sixth single from Teenage Dream, and the final release from the original album. It's the only single of all eight to miss #1 in the US and the top 10 in the UK, but nevertheless it seems to be a fan favourite still.

These results have been a disaster, start again tbh!

'I Kissed A Girl' is incredibly basic and only relies on the novelty of it.

 

'Roar' is a BIG, powerful, pure pop anthem. Like Joe says, it goes OFF! And it's very rare we get something like that nowadays. We have big songs, but not quite as pure as that!

 

Actually genuinely pissed off it is beaten by 'Last Friday Night (TGIF)' :') Which is only helped by it's video... </3

Yessss! SO HAPPY with that placing for TOTGA! Legit one of my all time favourite songs! :wub: routing for a 'Teenage Dream' or 'E.T.' win. But that's a very strong top 3! Over exposure has killed 'Dark Horse' for me slightly, but it's still very good.

Sorry Michael but Dark Horse doesn't manage to clinch the win, finishing in a comfortable third place. The third single from Prism managed to be a worldwide smash following on from the underperforming Unconditionally, and with a great video to boot, it's one of her biggest hits. Ahhh! Perfect top 2 out of the 3 that were left!! Happy with eother of them winning coz sometimes I prefer 'E.T.' but other times I prefer 'Teenage Dream' etc..

My rankings would be completely different to the rest of the results but that top 3 really is fantastic. All 3 are in my favourite tracks ever and I can never decide which is the best of the three, it's always changing! Current mood is Teenage Dream for the win!!!111
