Two great episodes. Apparently class comes in to it later in the year as Corey's rich dad tries to buy his freedom and get others jailed in his place. Many on other forums hate Corey but you've to remember there are guys like him, evil, and sex mad and with no respect for women or anyone else.

so awful to watch... especially for such a loved character like Nina but it's understandable why.

 

 

Wasn't too sure about Nina at first but love the character now. The bond between her and Roy will be even stronger after this, assuming she survives, which I think both will. Haven't heard either actors are leaving the show.

They episodes were hard to watch but done very well, and unfortunately the storyline is a reality but a horrible real world reality. I do like the Nina and Roy relationship as its genuine and it works and Nina compliments Roy as his character was a but in limbo or lost for a while.

There were no press spoilers this time. It was announced at 8.15 though that someone would die so had to be one of the two.

Didnt expect that at all,I'd love if soaps could do that more often and not leak storyline outcomes in advance.

Weds + Fri episodes are some of the most powerful hours of soap TV I have ever watched. </3

I still can't get over how hard-hitting this week has been. Some of the best soap episodes ever. Proof that you don't need big stunts and events when you have real, relatable storylines and an incredible cast. Bravo, Corrie.

Yes relatable story beats stunts anyday, it was well scripted and the fact they kept the death from the press helped elevate the episode.

Many of the Corrie crew, including all the Platts, seen filming a funeral today. The press rumour today is that Audrey Roberts dies soon as actress Sue Nicholls wants to step down and retire.

Poor Kelly, the underlying vulnerability and desperation to be believed is really at the core of her court scenes.

Corey has to be found guilty and his father for perverting the court of justice.

Clean sweep of all soap categories last night at the NTAs, truly deserved! Corrie's been head and shoulders above the other soaps all year for me :wub:
