Actually you're not alone. He's by far the most unpopular character according to polls. The one everyone wishes would leave or be sacked. Can't see him ever leaving voluntarily as he's on a cushy number. The actor doesn't come across as very nice either.

I'dove sean to go, the character and actor seem universally unpopular.

I really want to know the Yasmeen resolution... but they say it won't be done until Christmas? Yet the actress who played Elaine said it'd be explosive... suggesting they've filmed it.

 

I can only assume Yasmeen will be cleared of her charges but no case against Geoff will happen and he will pursue another victim?

It’s possible that the actress could’ve exaggerated like there’s been some instances with CS where they’ve hinted at stories that we won’t see coming and that they’ve never done before yet it turns out that the ending was what we all predicted.

 

I’m just hoping that the end results in Geoff really getting his comeuppance properly through the legal system. My feeling was that this would end in him being killed off in some whodunnit type story... I don’t know why.

I know they can't help what they have to do to go back to filming, but the show feels so empty rn :/ Especially with not much going on and we've still got a while to wait for the Yasmeen climax.

The Baileys are quite possibly the most deathly dull family on this show in a LONG time

I agree about The Baileys.

 

I quite like Aggie but the rest of them could go for me. The dad Edison is it? Is quite wooden.

 

The gay footballer son isn’t too bad but the other son who has a young daughter is better. But as a family no!

 

I think what they needed was a story for them as a whole family rather than individual characters half getting stories of their own.

I don’t know about that you know! CS is the one soap what doesn’t axe deadwood type characters there’s plenty characters who get nothing who are still there years later.

 

Did the storyline with James end up getting axed? The homophobia in football story?

Maria and Geoffs scenes and what they were saying made no sense. Geoff calling Jenny mummy and Maria not mentioning how her first husband died in a hit and run but instead asking if Gary flew like a rag doll and talking about doing number twos with clippers :lol:

Anyway they've announced that it's back to 6 episodes from mid-September

Last nights episode with Steve and the sausages was so bad :lol: :lol: :lol:

 

I mean it took up quite a lot of the entire episode awful!

 

On another note I noticed Craig’s weight loss for the first time in character last night. I knew the actor had lost weight but that’s the first time I’ve fully noticed it on the show.

Yeah Craig's been losing weight slowly since January but I guess the hiatus in filming made it far more noticeable!

 

The Geoff storyline is dragging a bit now... are we really going to have to wait until xmas for a conclusion? Like he keeps lying and getting away with it? Surely a simple DNA test would prove who Tim's mother was?

I know we hate Geoff but he’s such an amazing actor and I often sneakily laugh at his one liners and expressions. I’ll miss him when he goes a brilliant character who makes you feel so strongly about him. I’m so ready for him to really get his comeuppance. The actor deserves awards he’d have definitely gotten villain of the year at Soap Awards if they went ahead.

 

I wonder how this will end up wrapping up but I hope he goes to jail. We are slowly starting to see more people turn against / question Geoff lately though and they all seem to be women as well which is promising! Eileen was suss on him ever since the box but now we have Jenny who clearly doesn’t like him, Sally knows he’s lying and I’m thinking Faye could be next.

 

 

He has acted the role brilliantly as he really gets you to hate jeff.i do hope his comeuppance is jail and not a who done it ending.

The thing for me is... once Tim realises what Geoff's like... that'll be the comeuppance for me. Like I quite like having him on the show, like Jenny's face every time she deals with him or Sally's behavior with him... it's almost comedy as this point! I love it!

I'm loving Sally in all this, she is prob my fave character on the show overall,
