Is it bad that despite his obvious wrong-doings, I actually feel really sorry for Daniel? He must've had an incredibly tragic childhood to be acting like this at 21/22.

Am I missing something - why is Daniel acting SO OTT? I can't decide whether he's overacting or it simply hasn't been mentioned why his childhood was so shitty yet. I don't have the best of memories :lol:

I thought I'd tune in for this week but I've found it just as dull as last year's so far.

I've had the same problem. It's very stage-like/theatrical acting and I'm not sure it's working within the context of the show.

And I thought Tuesdays episode with Daniel was a bit too over the top.. :lol:

Yeah I really can't stand Nick, never liked him but I especially dislike him at the moment :drama:

 

This week is incredibly gripping so far, Corrie has been on form pretty much since Peter came back (although there's still a chunk of deadwood that we could do without - Sinead, Cathy, Johnny, his daughter w/e her name is).

I preferred Nick when he was played by Adam Rickett.

This. It's obvious he's got some serious mental problems so it's quite saddening to see it all play out. And I also fancy him a bit.
