nope, unlike Black Beatles, Harlem Style etc :)

he's a big name now, and wait til the song with Rihanna is released, that should be even bigger

I feel like Shape of You has decreased enough on iTunes to balance out the Spotify lead, but it's shaping up to be an interesting battle for #1 next week!

Harry's jump omg! :cheer:

The fans also doing the streaming party today, hope it can go top 3 next!

B-)

Both Mask Off and Selfish are on the 1Xtra playlist right now, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Selfish get a proper push later on this year.

Mask Off is this year's Trap Queen/Panda. The #maskoffchallenge that has gone viral has helped hugely.

I doubt labels pay anything to Spotify. Labels are all Spotify co-owners and their playlist are probably done in a way that appease label bosses.

I disagree. Labels might be co-owners, but at the end of the day Spotify is the key stakeholder here and pays the labels for the music in the first place. End of the day both parties need each other, but there is definitely some calculated thought that goes in to some playlists. Some weird cross-charging going on no doubt.

As long as SOY doesn't return to the top next week I will be happy.

Be interesting to have a period of lower streamed/downloaded sales songs so the official no1 changes hands a bit more!

I'd rather SOY had 17 non-consecutive weeks at the top instead of 16 consecutive weeks and when I mean 17 non-consecutive weeks, I mean have 13 consecutive weeks and get knocked off and return for another 4 weeks which would mean that he's had more weeks at #1 than Bryan Adams but won't beat his record a la Frankie Laine

Why the Hot Hits UK playlist keep ignoring Disciples :/ but keeps Naughty Boy, Sia's Move Your Body (I love Sia, but come on!!)

Yes, well done to Swalla. I love that song!

Harry needs to leave the chart though, it is awful!

Disciples crack the Top 200 @ #181
