I think going on tour with James to test the waters for the new music is a good idea. Hopefully one of the tracks will be the eventual lead single, I'm guessing she'll release it in late January. I imagine Radio 1 will still be on board and commercial radio still play "Ghost" a lot so hopefully they'll play it too.

She has to be on a Clean Bandit single to give it a boost and release the album around the same time of the Clean Bandit single.

She tweeted that she was playing some new music on the James Arthur tour (had to really).

Waaaaaaaay too late, sadly that's the problem with Syco, unless you are a top flight success off the bat you will get no support (even after a platinum album and pretty good chart numbers).

She needs to get out from Syco and try again.

She should AT LEAST put a song out now... even if a promo single.

Is "testing the waters for the new music" even a thing? Especially as a support act? Especially to a James Arthur's audience? They will be moderately jamming to "Ghost" and will go buy beers and chit chat during the rest of her set.

I mean when I go to watch live music, I would much rather watch someone that I've heard at least a handful of songs from than someone whose name I haven't even heard before - I'm sure she'll be just fine.

Her and James Arthur premiered there song called ‘Let’s Go Home Together’ live last night on his tour .

It would be wonderful if she can have a successful era with her new material away from Syco. The long gap since her last release puts her in a harder position. That said the lead single is crucial for her, if she can deliver another hit that can be half as successful as Ghost and she may pull the success off.

Is this ever coming. Starting to feel like Amelia Lily’s debut album now! Her second albums gonna end up performing similar to how Alexandra’s second album did now the hypes long gone.

As a talented songwriter, while I'd be surprised if she had big success again, I think if anyone could have a "James Arthur" return kinda moment, I do think it's Ella. She's not just an industry puppet or someone like Louisa who probably needs leading. Solo white females who do ballads will always have a Radio 2 kind of place and I think Ella knows who she is as an artist on her own that she could put out something really good.
