'Sold' around 2500 copies already just on iTunes and it was only released only an hour or so ago!
sold 2500 copies in 1 hour where? UK? worldwide?

I really need to check out Joanne at some point. I love Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons.

It's a good time to release The Cure, there's still hype around her so why not release whilst there's some sort of hype?

Hope she can get a chart hit again.

Easter Sunday.

The day Gaga was resurrected from the dead.

Lady Gaga is Jesus confirmed!!1 :o

As you're right about that I hope you are about CB too...

:heehee: Fingers crossed, Shape Of You at #1 for another week would be massively underwhelming after all this

Six years to the date since Judas was released as well!! :o
This is amazing!

Davidsons quote should be the new sub-heading tbh. Or reference 'Rise Up' too! *.*

It's the most reliable source we can get. I've found it usually tends to just be the #1 that's innacurate sometimes.

Looks like she'll be iTunes #1 by this afternoon then! Very rare that we see a song come in at over 0.5 in the first update.
I always feel everything Gaga does is disingenuous. She seems to so desperately want to be the big huge name/seller she once was. The switch to less quirky with Joanne seemed such a PR move as people had been getting bored of the over the top stuff, now jumping on the current tropical trend that goes instantly against Joanne and its direction.

I feel like there is actually a genuinely good album in her (like Anti or Lemonade) if she just stopped trying to chase something.

I agree that The Cure is generic, surprisingly so for Gaga. But come on, you can't be serious. Look at Artpop and Joanne, You can't call a Gaga a trend chaser, like her music or not.

In terms of this holding up here, it's hard to say, as radio really don't like her anymore. It'll be big in the US though as they're really back on board with her since the Super Bowl and success of Million Reasons...so releasing something SO radio friendly should be good.

oh no, that monster's back to pollute the charts again... :( hopefully it'll quickly start falling
