Would love to see it at #01, would be so fitting and a lovely tribute. Better than what is currently at the top by a mile as well.

I have always loved One Last Time :heart: Can't believe it only peaked at #24.

 

Can't believe what happened, so unbelievably sad. It's hard to find the words.

It would be lovely to have such a song under #1 in any case, but as a tribute to what's happened it would be absolutely incredible. Of course I'd rather it was under nicer circumstances like an XF performance :(

where do we think she'll chart officially then? it's not too late for the song to return to the top 40 (seems unlikely that it'll get past its original peak however).

'terrible' as it may be, 'Despacito' is on track to sell over 100k chart units this week - sales not seen since 'Shape Of You'.

Legit just because it's Justin Bieber :lol: I know he's had features that flopped but seriously so many amazing Spanish songs even just from the past year or so like Alvaro Soler - Sofia and Shakira - Chantaje paid dust because they aren't the English but the public jump as soon as Bieber utters despacito...

In all fairness, no other Spanish hits recently have had the exposure of Despacito. If they got the airplay and awareness of it, I could see other Spanish hits being big (although it's unlikely). I doubt it's literally all down to Bieber, he's just widened the reach of the track.

Yasss thank you Liam, no one would give it a chance if Bieber didn't feature! I know it was doing okay overseas before but it wouldn't be a huge hit like this.

Despacito was already huge in Spanish speaking countries before Bieber hopped on the track.

We can't seem to appreciate foreign language songs unless it is white washed by a big name.

One Last Time will probably return to the top 40 on Friday.
