:ne: 71. AJR ft. Louisa Johnson - Weak

Is this a special remix/feature for the U.K.market only? The version charting in the US doesn't include Louisa.

Yes, although ironically the original version did a lot better on Spotify than Louisa's version is currently doing now.

1. The original was featured on big playlists

2. This version is not

The original was fresh and new and added to the Hot hits section and it did well worldwide?

Weird how your last few posts are just bashing Louisa. You can hardly compare Calvin to Louisa

Very odd.

To be honest, don't most Katy Perry songs have cringey lyrics?

Really liking the RAYE and Bugzy Malone tracks, hope they keep climbing. 'The Line' sounds so self-assured, seems like her hype has been justified.

She sounds a bit like Charli XCX on The Line. A good song though, much better and more interesting production wise imo to You Don't Know Me.

Yeah the production has really grabbed me with this one! Whoever said it's like a mix of 'Lights On' and 'Big For Your Boots' was pretty accurate. I like the breakbeat inclusion, reminds me of something Naughty Boy would do.

Not sure if an entry on it would go on the dance or pop forum, leaning towards dance but it is often hard to tell what is dance in today's chart.

Thought it was more a dancehall style beat in the chorus rather than breakbeat.

:hi:

The Calvin song is only an instant grat - not being promoted as a single! So it's not doing too badly considering.

Since when did Rollin become an instant grat? Since it started performing even more poorly than the first two singles?

Since it got released, seeing as it hasn't been pushed to radio.

Yeah but has it actually been confirmed that it's not a proper single? Could it not be pushed to radio in the coming weeks?

I'm not sure about that, but I think following its poor iTunes performance it'd be for the best if they leave it. They should wait for the album to drop and see which AT performs the best before deciding what to send to radio next.

Yeah that's probably a good idea. In any case, I've just read Alan Jones' sales writeup in which he refers to it as an instant grat so I guess you're right in that it won't be sent to radio any time soon! Hopefully there are better single choices on the album.

The album tracks will probably appear in the singles chart when the album gets released a la Ed Sheeran :P , he is going to struggle to get a hit single from it I think, but judging who the collaborations are on his album, he might surprise us.

Believe me he won't do half as well as Ed Sheeran

I could realistically see all his album tracks making the top 100 though, not hard to do as there's only ten of them (and 3 have already been released).

Maybe using Ed Sheeran as an example was a wise move... ha, more like Kendrick Lamar :D

I have read somewhere Calvin wasn't going to release albums anymore?

He did say that but he's now changed his mind and is releasing an album at the end of next month.
