It does make me wonder just how well "Disconnect" would've done with the same kind of push that "I Miss You" has had.

It's not good, so not well.

Extraordinary is hella underrated. Didn't suffer from the ludicrous amounts of exposure Rather Be & Real Love experienced. Their best single for me after perhaps Symphony.

"I Miss You" is doing well enough, I think "Disconnect" is stronger.

For me that's their weakest top 10 hit. I just found it so blah. I doubt it'd have been a top 10 hit if it were OA/OS in those days.

It's no where near as good. I love Marina and wanted it to be good but Discount just didn't work, which is why they binned it as a single in the end.

Maybe I think "I Miss You" is that poor then? I'd give them both around 6 or 7 out of 10 personally.

Disconnect is a decent song but it never felt like a hit to me, and that's nothing to do with my personal opinion of the track, it just never sounded like something that would catch on and it seemed like they agreed, considering it wasn't pushed in the end. I Miss You is catchier, has a bigger (or rather, more relevant) feature attached, and is pretty well polished.
I think Disconnect could have been a sizeable top 10 hit but maybe not as big as I Miss You has been

Disconnect also struggled to meet expectations from a 2-year-long hype. It’s a great song and I loved it when it was released but it does sound little more than an album track nowadays, which is fine as I don’t think they ever planned on pushing it as a single.

With a little more “umph” to it Disconnect could have easily lived up to the expectations from CB x Marina and would have given them an easy Top 20 hit at least. It also could’ve helped bring Marina and the Diamonds back into relevancy a little.

I like I Miss You but at this point I am just waiting for either the Jess Glynne or Sam Smith collab  Sam Smith is at his best on a dance track (see Latch, Omen, La La La) and Jess is... Jess... bring on CB 2018

I do wish 'Disconnect' sounded a lot more like the version performed at Coachella, it would have fulfilled its potential then.

Disconnect -1/10

I Miss You 10/10

I can't...

'Disconnect' did feel a little... nothingy when i first heard it i must admit, i mean it's not like 'I Miss You' does much more in terms of buildup but it felt like there was something majorly missing in the former.
