Coming up to 15 years since his debut single 'Colourblind' went to #1:

What do you make of the song now?

The song was so good back then, still sound fresh today. Top quality with superbly written lyrics yet so underrated. I'm colour blind.
This is still an absolute stomper of a pop song, brings so many good memories!
Yes still good by today's standards, but u know the songs in the dive in album were wonderful, so much so, that I will tell you "something simple like the truth" and that is,that I would be hard pressed to pick out an absolute favourite.Dive in itself was great,as was Mercury Rising',but as "I turn this ship around"some of his best.b.sidespecially like "Big feather pillow"were so good.I thought his 2nd album was excellent too, showing of the great versatility of his voice, but I understand that it was such a mix,and to some people a biton fusing, but I loved the mix and the rock too.
This is SUCH a tune, still sounds brilliant today
'Colourblind' is such a great song! Definitely Darius' best. One of the best songs to come from a Pop Idol contestant, along with Michelle McManus' 'All This Time' of course *.*

No you can't compare in terms of singing talent, but to be fair, she is/was a very smart woman, who went on to do well for herself in other fields, and compared to many would be popstars she was an astute young woman, so your remark was perhaps a bit unkind. She was I believe an avid fan of Darius, and therefore has good taste too!!

Sorry if it came across that way.

I do like them both.
