Gnarls Barkley returns with the third single of their amazing album 'St Elsewhere'. Continuing the theme of mental illness which was first displayed on their debut 'Crazy', this schizophrenic anthem showcases Cee-Lo's Temptations-like bass vocals to perfection.

Double A-side :o

And good choices on what imho is an album that is a little bit $h!t, just a little bit

But I must say, Just A Thought has been wasted :(

One of the better tracks off a fairly c**p album IMO. Its a good track but not a patch on Crazy but well I don't think this single can do much for their album anymore.

Just A Thought was the b-side to Crazy though so it's not really going to be a single. The album is fab, not really a bad track on it!

I think its a pretty c**p album tbh. Its got some good tarcks on it but some really c**p ones as well, but I think its a bit of a love it or hate it album.

I think there are 7 excellent (The 4 singles, Just A Thought, Boogie Monster  and Feng Shui) which I'd rate 8-10. The rest I'd rate 5-7...

Id say the singles then Just A Thought, Go-Go Gadget Gospel, and Transformer were the best tracks

Online, Necromancer, Storm Coming and The Last Time are complete gack though, very samey album overall :(

And I agree with Rooney, this albums had it's day and will do 500k tops in the UK

I'd be surprised if it even hit 500k tbh. Is on 417,000 now and I don't think this single will promote the album too much.

I love this video, but I'm not sure that videos not featuring the actual band are as effective at promoting whole albums as they are at promoting singles. I really like the album, and I think it could get a bit of a boost if it's promoted properly in the run-up to Christmas. Crazy is a dead-cert to make the finals of Record of the Year, so expect a big push around about then.

Necromance is great. Listen to the lyrics!

As you say, its a love or hate album. I love it personally, it now reminds me of the early summer.

Another sh*t release from them.

Although I must admit that the Gone Daddy Gone video is quite good ^_^

NEITHER of these are well great, they seem to churn out these artsy/odd tracks with their kooky little videos but I just get left feeling, well underwhelmed
They were great on Jonathon Ross on Friday. I hope their album gets the boost it deserves.

It looks like this is going to debut only in the top 60

It's approaching the top 40 on airplay but can't even muster a couple of K

They've not even bothered doing a video for Who Cares....I don't know :(

Its got a vampire theme.

Yes, it does, I found it on youtube here:

I don't get all the Gnarls bashing, both songs are great! For me, Who cares? reminds me of sitting in the park reading back in Summer.....Cee Lo's vocal are outstanding as usual on both tracks.

Top 60 only is a travesty!

I really liked 'Gone Daddy Gone' and quite liked 'Smiley Faces' but I hated and still do hate 'Crazy' and 'Who Cares' is a load of trash with a trash video. They seem to have promoted 'Who Cares' more than 'Gone Daddy Gone' and in my opinion that has worked against them and they should have done the opposite. 'Gone Daddy Gone' is a much better, catchy tune with a better, nicer video which is much more radio and video friendly so basically due to the pure and utter trash of 'Who Cares', nobody cared to buy it and it has completely missed the top 40 and the group look like they are turning into big one hit wonders.
