As a new feature in the Chart Forum, I am going to post the No 1's from the past decade, one at a time, and ask you all to vote for what you consider the best one (the numbers after the song titles relate to how long a track was at No 1 for)... Once 1995-2005 have been done, I will do an overall poll, with the Top 2 from each year. I may follow this with either No 1's from the late 80s-mid90s, or albums..

Moving onto 1997 - the year of Diana's Death (and the biggest selling single ever by Elton John), many million sellers, including Aqua, The Teletubbies, Perfect Day and Puff Daddy, one of biggest seeling #2 songs ever (Torn), No Doubt, the sensation that was White Town, The Spice Girl's and Oasis's return and The brilliance of The Verve...

Get voting, and it would be cool if you could post your top No 1 in the thread and maybe explain why you like it so much!

No Doubt - Don't Speak... closely followed by Olive - You're Not Alone.
Spice Girls - Too Much  followed by No Doubt probably

Well TORN is my favourite song from this year :smoke:

Great year but I'll go for No Doubt.

Lots of great number ones in that year.

I went for The Verve, but I won't mind if No Doubt win by a landslide. Don't Speak is a great tune.

2) No Doubt- Don't Speak

3) Olive- You're Not Alone
