Sooo this is being savaged - 'aca-terrible', 'aca-awful', etc.

Hopefully it is like Sex and the City where the critics hted i but we all loved it.

Tbf, the other two weren't greatly received either, were they? I'm sure they were stronger than this, but nothing particularly special.

I'm still so excited for this, even if I am expecting it to be weaker!

I think I preferred it to the second film to be honest. Fat Amy's

dad

aside, I loved all of the new characters and there were so many great sing-along moments.

Also the soundtrack has Christmas songs on which weren't featured in the film *.*

Pitch Perfect got 80%+ and the second one got 60%+ on RT.

This has 30% currently in comparison. I knew it'd be shit. :( I hope it's still good though!

Oh wow! I thought both were on less than 60%! Interesting.

I love the 2nd despite most others saying it's awful.

I liked this because it was re-visiting characters I know and love, but it's definitely the worst of the three. The plot just felt messier, like they didn't know what to do with the characters now they aren't in college and I don't know what songs I'm going to take from it and listen to multiple times like I did with "The Sign", "Cups", "Flashlight". Thought John Lithgow was pretty awful too and I missed Bumper, Jesse & Benji.

Matt Lanter was a nice addition for my eyes though and

DJ Khaled

was a good surprise, I had no idea he was in it.

Best laugh went to

"My grandma's in a band right now, 'Never Moist'"

 Runner-up prize, one of the soldiers

shutting Fat Amy down when she asked if they'd be going to second or third base with them

Obsessed with the soundtrack to this! Sit Still, Look Pretty is my fav (it's actually better than the original which I adore... Oops!). Toxic is also incredible

Pretty much agree with Jahq on this. Definitely my least fave of the 3 but it was ok. I also missed Bumper, Jesse & Benji. Would've liked to have seen Benji and Emily's relationship. It was OTT but I expected that, so didn't mind it much.

The riff off was dreadful though. Like, probably the worst thing from all 3 movies. :( Butttt 'Toxic', 'Sit Still, Look Pretty' and 'Freedom '90' were all fantastic.

Could have been so much better, but could have been so much worse. A nice conclusion to the trilogy. I'd like to see a reunion movie of some sorts in like 10 or 15 years or something.

I love the riff off!!

One of my faves from all 3 movies

'All my bellas say hell yeaaah'

I liked everything the Bellas did! But the other bands were just... No. But I guess that was the point? So disappointed with it. They're usually the highlights :(

Saw this earlier, definitely much preferred it to 2! It was a bit ridiculous and OTT but it worked as a last hurrah imo. It was a fun, easy and hilarious watch if nothing else. I certainly enjoyed the additions of Matt Lanter and Guy Burnet  The soundtrack was the weakest of the 3 but Toxic, Sit Still and Freedom were great. I laughed out loud multiple times, probably the funniest of the 3 films although 1 is still the best overall.
