The slow release weeks tend to be quite exciting in other ways though, hopefully we see some of the bubbling under hits starting to climb up!

Perfect week for The Saturdays to come back with a What About Us bop!

Slightly random but I do miss Sats release weeks :(

#21. LIV'N'G - Smile For Bradley

Charity single with procedes going to the Bradley Lowrey foundation to help pay for Bradley's care and to help other children with neuroblastoma.

When is Clean Bandit/Marina released?? I don't see it on Spotify.....?!
There'll be plenty of action over the weekend on iTunes with Glastonbury, so makes sense that the labels have left releasing anything major this week!

The only effect will be the Ed Sheeran tracks in the singles chart, usually it's the album chart gets a bit of a shuffle more than anything.

You never know what might get a boost on the singles chart. Even Christine and the Queens got a boost for Tilted last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see boosts for Foo Fighters or Katy Perry tracks.

Boring week and BOTW will be number 1 again of course with their lead and now 28 on Spotify.
Will Despacito have the chance at #1 again after BOTW next week or after? Wild Thoughts or new Clean Bandit might be able to slide up once BOTW hype (for lack of a better word) dies out and Despacito declines. My hope is for CB but with DJ Khaled album his songs will get a boost

Khaled/Ri I'd say :)

Bieber is creeping up... to 0.08 now

 50. Fall Out Boy - Champion

 93. Kodaline - Brother

 239. Black Saint - Never Did This Before

1217. Friend Within & Kideko - Burnin' Up

85. Kodaline - Brother

Was expecting to see the "stripped back" version appearing at least in the top 1500 since it was released at the same time, and I'd have thought many of the fans would buy both. Just me then? :P

Terrible week for new single releases, hopefully Kodaline and FOB get a decent entry on the back of Glastonbury.

I didn't realise Katy Perry is performing as well, really not sure how well her singles will do. I just find when I do the sales rip with the Glasto effect in the past years, the albums benefit more. I just think Christine & The Queens 'Tilted' was just spurred on and took off, it was something different from we had in the chart at the time.

It really depends how well she does, and what she performs. 70% of the time she performs on TV it's pretty terrible, but if she does as well as she did at the Radio 1 Big Weekend it could get her some major sales boosts. The GP usually respond well to her promo either way, which is why sadly Witness didn't get anything here.
