July 17, 20178 yr I think it would still go top 20 and Gold to be honest if it was released, and I wouldn't be mad, I don't think it would be their worst single at all. I would slot it in around here somewhere. 1. No More Sad Songs 2. Power 3. Touch 4. Black Magic 5. Shout Out To My Ex 6. Hair 7. Love Me Like You 8. DNA 9. Move 10. Salute 11. Wings 12. Oops < Here seems right. 13. How Ya Doin'? 14. Secret Love Song 15. Change Your Life 16. Little Me 17. Cannonball 18. Word Up! Edited July 17, 20178 yr by Juliano
July 21, 20178 yr As stupid as it sounds I think they'd get silly backlash off releasing Down & Dirty
July 22, 20178 yr Down & Dirty would never be a hit in 2017. I could see it being a low Top 40 hit perhaps. I think it would have been a Top 10 hit in 2011 though.
July 23, 20177 yr I could see it being a low Top 40 hit perhaps. I think it would have been a Top 10 hit in 2011 though. Yeah with a good video I think top 40 wouldn't be out of the question. They've released the 3 best up tempos on the album now.
July 23, 20177 yr No way! 'F.U.' would really take them a step back I feel! :o Tbh, I genuinely think 'Down & Dirty' is the only viable option left if they were going to choose a 5th single. I really think some people are underestimating it's chances. With a killer video especially, it could be a decent sized top 20 hit I think. Although, I think 'Nothing Else Matters' would get Heart & Radio 2 on board at the same time as Radio 1/Capital etc.. so maybe that's the more logical choice?
July 24, 20177 yr Honestly, Down & Dirty would do very little by their standards. The best options would be Your Love, Nothing Else Matters, Oops or maybe FU. But none of these would do even as well as No More Sad Songs.
July 24, 20177 yr As someone who isn't a fan, I think the best option for them after 'Power's massive success is to release a brand new unheard single with an X Factor premiere performance and a Q4 Glory Days re-release. A proper 'Oops' release would be a terrible decision.
July 26, 20177 yr Honestly, Down & Dirty would do very little by their standards. We all said the same for Power and look what happened. Besides Oops, D&D is the only single worthy song left on the album.

True it is a bit of a Get Weird album track, but I just thought it was popular. I don't know how I would feel about D&D. Would still prefer Oops I think.
July 27, 20177 yr We all said the same for Power and look what happened. Besides Oops, D&D is the only single worthy song left on the album. I think we all expected Power to do quite well but not as well as it did (we didn;t predict a Stormzy feature at the time either). Even though Power is a bit jarring to people it's still quite modern and original, whereas even though it's fun live, Down & Dirty is very dated. But either way I highly doubt they will release it as a single anyway.
July 27, 20177 yr Down and Dirty is the worst song I think I ever heard in my life. I listened to it once on the listening party and then tried to give it another try once the album was out. Never. Again. People say it's one of the greatestes performances on the Shout Out Tour but I can't even bother to watch it because the song is so awful.

July 30, 20177 yr Author I don't think 'Down and Dirty' is thaaat bad. Certainly not the 'worst song ever'. It's just outdated and the chorus falls a bit flat. I do agree with Jonjo that'd it probably go top 20 on name alone, but I'd still rather they just moved on to a brand new single. Failing that, a feature on another artist's track would be good. I'd love a Snakehips collab.

This for me as well either that or a first single of a new album to be released early next year at earliest I don't really see anything left doing significant without another feature (the album is double platinum already)and 3 features in a row does seem overkill

Surely not one of their best when it comes to quality, but "the worst song you ever heard in your life"? Gurl bye.
