Fair play to Madonna though, she was 25 years into her career last time she was no.1.

 

Still it's amazing. I really thought the five year gap between albums would affect her more.

To think you can compare P!nk's chart achievements at this point to Madonna just goes to show how underrated she is! Nobody ever expects her to smash liek this and she virtually always does, there's really nobody around from 2000 who could still challenge new stars like Dua Lipa as well as the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Calvin Harris.

I really like this! I was expecting something less based on some of the 'basic' comments, but the chorus/hook is pretty instant and that riff, while very 2013-14, is really lovely, quite a lush chord progression. I instantly prefer it to Blow Me (One Last Kiss) which never majorly appealed to me.

It will be a two track CD single ( :w00t: ) with track two currently being 'TBA' but I've heard it won't be an instrumental...hopefully she'll be keeping her tradition of releasing a b-side with the lead single :cheer:

I'd be happy with a b-side or even a remix/acoustic version. This song lends itself to a good mixer.

Reminds me of Try a little bit because of the sand and what appears to be some sort of still from choreography.

I get the Today's the Day vibes too! Not a bad thing at all for me as that's one of her most underrated songs I'd say.

 

#3 in today's mids, not entirely sure where it will end up come Friday but it's on lock for a top 10 debut at the very least! :D
