July 1, 20179 yr Author Looking at this week's chart, these songs are likely to fall due to ACR (accelerated chart ratio) (and this is just based off falling positions cos I don't know which songs have declined in sales for 3 consecutive weeks) 14 13 10 Shawn Mendes ~ There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back 17 15 15 Clean Bandit ~ Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson) 20 18 18 Jason Derulo ~ Swalla (feat. Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign) 23 22 17 J Hus ~ Did You See 27 26 19 The Chainsmokers and Coldplay ~ Something Just Like This 29 24 13 Disciples ~ On My Mind 32 27 13 Cheat Codes ~ No Promises (feat. July 1, 20179 yr Wondering if The Killers' 'Mr. Brightside' will be subject to these rules straight away - it obviously will have declined in sales 3 weeks in a row at some point recently but of course will have increased sales last week, it depends how retroactively the rules are applied (this also goes for 'Shape Of You' probably), i.e. will it only apply now to songs that have decreased in the *last* 3 weeks or just any 3 weeks after the 10 week mark...
July 1, 20179 yr Author the OCC haven't told us the answer to that but until we know I'm assuming that Mr Brightside will remain on SCR until it declines for 3 consecutive weeks.
July 1, 20179 yr and the following will be excluded: 50 64 17 Ed Sheeran ~ Perfect 57 66 17 Ed Sheeran ~ What Do I Know? 83 RE 118 Ed Sheeran ~ Thinking Out Loud 88 RE 16 Ed Sheeran ~ Happier 97 92 15 Drake ~ Blem 99 RE 14 Ed Sheeran ~ New Man Plus Little Mix's Shout Out To My Ex (unless the change in stream ratio pushes touch or no more sad songs below it). Just shows still that the area affected the most by this is the lower part of the top 100. Time will tell of course how much this influences things in the top 20, but I can't see this causing massive changes at the top end of the chart.
July 1, 20179 yr the OCC haven't told us the answer to that but until we know I'm assuming that Mr Brightside will remain on SCR until it declines for 3 consecutive weeks. The OCC did confirm that all the old Christmas tracks will regain 150:1 once they start to climb around November.
July 1, 20179 yr Author Which doesn't have anything to do with 'Mr Brightside's situation right now, seeing as it didn't increase its sales by 50%. :P
