Yeah, I think the show really suffers from being 40 minutes instead of 60 minutes. There’s too much to fit in and it ends up being rushed and not as exciting as it should be. The first 3 episodes were really entertaining because of the extra length.

 

Thank god every episode of season 10 is 60 minutes!

but are we not gonna talk about the fact that it was a Diana song in the lip sync? Trixie didn’t stand a damn chance. It’d be like BeBe having to lip sync to Dolly?

I spent all of the lip sync raging about how ridiculously unfair it is. Okay, so you can say "they only did Diana Ross because it was representing disco" or "they didn't know Bebe was going to end up top 2" but the whole thing just felt kind of... rigged to me. It's not like they haven't changed lip syncs late on in the past, the whole reason Jade Jolie wore an outfit where there was hair coming out of her body was because they were initially meant to be lip syncing to Whip My Hair. A Diana Ross song should never have been considered as a lip sync song from the minute, before the season started, when the producers knew they'd assigned Diana Ross to a queen earlier on in the series.

It's not like she's the only disco singer ever or THE essential disco singer. I think they probably sort of knew it was a safeish bet Bebe wouldn't f*** up because she's the dictionary definition of safe, and a challenge like this was perfect for her to sneak that top 2 and seal it over Trixie with a conveniently perfect for her lipsync song. It was just Bebe by numbers which bored me, however much she "felt the music" or whatever. It's really not wowing for me if, for the 83rd time, Bebe just sways a bit in a classy, regal way and makes the same faces. I prefer Trixie's sort of fun disco vibe in the lipsync than the same old from Bebe. A song by say Donna Summer would have been just fine and wouldn't feel as conveniently fixed.

Looking back I'm pretty confident its Morgan, Aja and Chi Chi. Aja was definitely the middle queen, she has the same arm tattoos, and Morgan was roughly the same height (so I've since learned :lol:).

I think Bebe gets a little too much hate, okay she isn't astounding but she is so likeable and sweet imo. Trixie has been a low key asshole this season and hasn't had the talent or wow moments to back it up.

I don't know mind, it's all editing and speculation but she might not have even been at the top had Aja not helped her with her dress, and then to go and send her home as well is a bit shady after basically talking over her and not letting her plead her case. :mellow:

See I think Trixie is talented off the show more but even on the show, she shows me why I like her a lot whereas Bebe as sweet as she is sometimes doesn't wow me in the same way. I loved her first performance on the talent show though. Also, if we are talking "low key asshole" and Bebe taking credit for Aja making that look for her doesn't make her out to be a low key asshole too?

Oh I thought the middle queen had similar tattoos to Morgan... I guess the end one is obviously Chi Chi. But don't Morgan and Aja both have arm tattoos and the first queen didn't have any.

 

Either way I'm sure this week is the week of Ben's downfall, it was signalling again this week with her being 'tired' etc I'm guessing she'll end up in the bottom and then the returning Queen takes her out.

For all UK viewers. From the next episode it is being aired at 0230 on Friday morning. As soon as it finishes in the US. This will be the only showing by the looks of it. As straight man show Impractical Jokers has replaced it.

I do agree, she's my favorite queen left as in I'd go to her show, find her the funniest etc, but she isn't quite showing that level of talent in the show and she didn't on Season 7 either, but I think she does deserve finale over Kennedy and Bebe at least. I do absolutely love her though so I'd be lying if I said i'd be upset if she won.

Trixie isn't suited to this type of show at all, but god damn I love her.

 

I've just spend the last 20 minutes watching a compilation of the funny bits from the Trixie and Katya show. She is AMAZING on that. Even the dead eye reaction shots are great. Feast your eyes...

 

 

Shangela is doing it for me on the show, but I wouldn't have any issues with Trixie winning it, even if it wouldn't make any sense.
