Steven's acting while watching Lauren on spy camera, with his laptop in the back garden was awful. "Why!, Why!, why!, have I always got to be the bad guy!?", followed by kicking a wall that fell apart easily.

 

What was it with the scene in which he couldn't get it to work and had to look at the settings?. Just felt like an excuse to drive the storyline further.

 

We need another storyline that gets everyone excited, it's been too long since "Who killed Lucy?".

Get rid of Keegan. He's an evil runt and could be another Nick Cotton in the making, which we do not need another of.

So when is this Carrie tribute airing?

Ian Beale lies to Mel that Lucy has cancer to make her feel sorry for him, just so she marries him, then 18 years later his son Stephen does almost the same for a similar reason, only the lie is about himself having a form of cancer not somebody else and does this so Lauren stays with him (I think he's playing Abi along).

 

Nick Cotton cuts the brake lines on Mark Fowler's motorcycle, only for his own son Ashley to jump on it and die. Many years later he does the same again and ends up also killing someone he didn't intend to because of his actions (DCI Emma).

 

Yet again EastEnders recycle old story lines, and lying about cancer is just wrong let alone writers making attempts to bring "entertainment" out of it. Hope the prom episode will be worth the wait/hype.

 

Also, the brain scan is 5 years out of date!

Yeah I'm always very uneasy with "lying about having a terminal illness" storylines. I just think it's insensitive and it must be extremely difficult for people who DO have terminal illnesses to sit and watch it.

It's pure thoughtlessness on behalf of the writers. This is the THIRD time if you include Angie lying to Den.

I hate Stephen, I hate Lauren, I hate Sonia but my god Robbie is awful I can't tolerate him at all :mellow: I'm bored with Lauren and Stephens storyline, just when I thought we were getting rid of Lauren, that doesn't happen and it just gets worse. I hate Abi rn too. I agree with the teen drama being the most interesting (if we exclude Keegan).

I honestly have no idea! :lol: Seems strange that his name should appear among the likes of Barbara Windsor and Wendy Richards.

 

It's surprising that the top actor and actress in Casualty get paid more than anyone in Eastenders. Also a surprise that SOC was in the £150k-200k bracket - one would assume the 'head' of the show would get the top pay.

I found it odd that the highest paid stars were from Casualty/Holby City too!

 

I wonder if Tameka's pay includes her Strictly fee or if that doesn't count, she's the only real surprising name for me there.

I am surprised at Lacey Turner getting the same pay as some of the others. She is a much bigger name in the world of Soap as the hugel level of awards she has won has proven that.
