Cindy isn't Ian's daughter that's why  Cindy Sr gave birth to her and died but Ian is sort of a stepdad for her.

And yep that had to be James.

ooops I've forgotten, can I be forgiven, I'm tired :drama:

It makes sense the man at the end has to be James Wilmot Brown, hence the card "an old friend". I thought it could be the new character, probably an old friend from South Africa, but the Wilmot Brown sounds more realistic now.

If Josh turns out to be a pretty significant character due to the Wilmott-Brown link, does that mean we get to see more of him because that wouldn't be a bad thing ok

They'd never bring Gavin back. Surely they're pretending he never existed.

It's definitely James Willmott-Brown. Fi was basically confirmed as Sophie Willmott-Brown tonight.

Is Kathy to shockingly become relevant, two years after she rose from the dead?

Mum went "he needs a bigger shirt"... I was like no love he does not

God he has aged, looks like he is after the Vic more than anything.
All this build up for something a lot of people expected... and for a lot of viewers it'll be a 'Who?' moment

Problem is we've waited like 9 months for this reveal, everyone already figured it out and it's taken SOC almost a year to deliver it and a completely tedious year at that.

Is it weird that, despite everything, I have no sympathy for Lauren whatsoever? I actually wish she'd died instead.

Lorna Fitzgerald stole that episode IMO.

I actually felt uncomfortable that no one went to his funeral and that family liaison officer was f***ing useless who tells them that on a funeral.

Tbf to her, Lauren insisted despite everyone else wanting her to shut up. Heaven forbid the day be about anyone but her....

I was waiting for Simon Wicks to turn up,like he did at Pat's grave after everyone had gone. As Abi was the only one there and wouldn't have known who he was,he could have sneaked into the church this time.

I know what Steven did was awful but they've really treated the character shabby in death.

Like, even Derek Branning got a full church of mourners!

Okay, I am catching up now because I haven't seen this since Monday :heehee: you guys need to push me to watch this because you know how much I love Abi and how much I will cry at the end of the year :(

Also, Karen is becoming really likeable, the cake fiasco reminds me of when Shirley / Kathy / Sharron made Peggy's last meal and Shirley butchered the cake!

Also, Keegan really doesn't look 16 :kink:

Which is older, Keegan or Bernadette?

He looks about 25, and she looks even older.

I feel really uncomfortable with Kathys rapists coming back for revenge. It just doesn't set very well with me
People keeps saying that but I don't get it. It makes for good drama and it's not like he'll win in the long run. He was obsessed with Kathy and genuinely believed he'd done nothing wrong. Besides, nothing has indicated that he wants revenge on Kathy herself, he's probably still besotted with her.
Do we know if they're getting the R and R treatment or leaving in the back of an Uber, seeing as EE won't have updated itself, and chased out by an angry mob furious at Max Brannin?
