This quote from the chart rule change thread has inspired me to create this one.

Waiting for an artist like Ed or Justin to release an album called Featured where they are the Featured artist on each song so they can all still chart.

Would the OCC then allow all the songs to chart or would it prompt them to change the rules again which could see a case whereas eg Ed Sheeran's most popular three tracks of the week were featured then neither of his lead ones below would be eligible to chart?

If this ever happened the OCC will just change the rules again so only 3 songs per album are eligible regardless of whether it's an artist album or a "featuring" album.
I'm trying to parse the thread title, but I'm not sure what it is supposed to mean?
I don't think this will ever be a problem tbh. No big artists would want to look that desperate!

Imagine a tracklisting like this.

1) Calvin Harris feat Ed Sheeran - Go

2) Ellie Goulding feat Ed Sheeran - Heaven

3) Olly Murs feat Ed Sheeran - Who Is It?

4) Charli XCX feat Ed Sheeran - Ectastic

5) Louisa Johnson feat Ed Sheeran - A Letter From Russia

6) George Ezra feat Ed Sheeran - County Mayo

7) Justin Bieber feat Ed Sheeran - I'm Coming Home

8) Disciples feat Ed Sheeran - In The Club

9) Take That feat Ed Sheeran - Clouds

10) Selena Gomez feat Ed Sheeran - Let's Get Wicked

11) Coldplay feat Ed Sheeran - Estonia

12) HAIM feat Ed Sheeran - Underneath the Sea

Except Ed Sheeran would never do that cos it would do real damage to his credibility, plus he wasn't super keen on his entire album being in the top 20 singles chart either.

That's a song called I Believe In You & I by Starix, it sounds nothing like Ed

It's inevitable that both Harris and Sheeran will collaborate at some point.

Then it wouldnt count for the Albums chart

Would be classed as a compilation

I really don't think any of the acts mentioned are that bothered about uk chart positions that they would try to find ways around the chart rules.
Never gonna happen. I doubt Justin knows or cares where he charts in the UK and Ed already said that taking over the singles chart made him "uncomfortable", so I don't see him doing it either.
