I caught a bit of tonight's show by accident whilst eating my roast. The show has curiously never looked more like it's on life support. I wouldn't be surprised if next year is the last year of it.

Tonight was pretty shite, the Aretha Franklin girl was about the best but she was the overdone trope of being made to seem super ditzy and dumb so people think she'll be crap or basic and then comes out and she's really soulful :drama: I agree Sharon was quite rude about the mother and daughter, I don't think the daughter was THAT good, she was better than the mother sure but I can't see how she was so ood that they go like that over her, she isn't good enough to compete with the likes of Grace or Holly in the girls category.

 

I agree with Harry the last guy was terrible, his tone on the second song was offputting and the Uptown Funk perf was so identikit.

They need a better selection of song choices tbh.

Can we put a blanket ban on Alicia Keys songs? I'm bored of seeing people try to tackle If I Ain't Got You :drama:

Catching up on last night, the girl who sang Listen was good but she feels very generic big voiced diva imo. Also screaming at her family selling takeaway on the side of the road as a sob story.

 

Rai-Elle was good I think, can't really make my mind up and Sail was a bit of a random audition song but I guess it was nice to have something different. Idk if she'll d oa Tamera and have bags of potential but not quite make it.
