I struggle to believe it after another perfect edit for her tonight. Possible explanations could be the two categories performing on Saturday and two on the Sunday for the first couple of weeks rumour, freeing up Grace on the Saturday if she performs on the Sunday. Another one is that she has been "let go" but will be brought back as a wildcard for the Melanie Amaro effect. Lastly, I guess they could just be using it as a decoy.

 

I think the first explanation could be the one. If they put four through in each category, the first two weeks could see 8 contestants perform on each weekend night - then they could all come together by week 3 where 12 would remain or 8 if they fancy some double elims.

Decoy sounds interesting, what do you mean? They wouldn't let her go because it wouldn't make sense in their narrative so I can't see her as wildcard. The two categories performing each day - I think you've got it there. But it would mean they are bending over backwards for her. They'd never normally allow an act to leave and do a concert the day before performing so I'm still not sure.

I feel like maybe they've relaxed the rules this year, it would fit with their seemingly new direction of finding "real artists", what with allowing for original songs and scrapping the themes so the acts can just sort of carve their own way in the competition. Idk if they would though, it doesn't seem very X Factor not to be strict on things like that so I'm sure there's an explanation. If she does get to do it I can already see the tabloid "X FIXTER?" headlines :lol:

 

I agree with Ryan though, it definitely doesn't feel like she's not going to make the lives based on how they've edited her and just generally the standard of the contestants. If she didn't make the lives, I'm not sure I'd bother to be honest :/

I don't think people need to worry about Grace. As I've said, it's pretty obvious this years series is being built around her so I'd bet a lot of money that she'll be there, front and center :lol:

I'm sure it's full categories each night, I'm sure I read that.: idk if they'll "seed" them and put like girls and groups together as they seem to have the good ones likely to win, and then boys vs overs, but to save Grace and tantrum queen Alisa thy'll probably do girls vs overs so the girls trounce them :lol: 2 from each category per nght does seem fairer but as my mum loves to say every time I so much as think about X Factor "it's all done a certain way so their favourite will win!1!!" :P

My cynical side makes me think that the wildcard is just for her too :lol: Because of her being like "I'm sorry" in the trailer, looking upset and tweeting hints, I feel like she didn't make it but they did a wildcard so she does make it. Then again Sharon LOVES her, so I feel like she could do a Cher Lloyd though and be chosen for lives anyway based on previous performances despite messing up JH.

The Cutkelvins, Jack & Joel, Matt and Alisah have posted about having their hair done/teeth whitened so perhaps a sign they're in the lives, having their makeovers? Not solid as a rumour but it's what we have atm, I can see all of them getting through anyway bar J&J who I'm a bit surprised at.

 

The over 28s rumours are that Talia, Kevin and Matt made it, I hope Kevin isn't really because he's pretty similar to Matt with the same old gravelly voice.

 

Also rumour has it we get to vote for wildcards on the app which would be good!

I missed it but if Grace was saying sorry it means she was walking out on them and not they were rejecting her. Janet Devlin says she wishes she had left after judges houses and Grace is a friend of hers.
