YES at Mi Gente getting front page Hot Songs promotion - should help that rocket up and become a hit as of next week without the need for an English version just yet <3.

New releases from Cheat Codes and Tom Zanetti also out today, not that they're likely to make any sort of impact.

I think Instruction is proof that 59p song promo isn't enough, it steamed up the chart when it had Hot Songs promo but has fell back despite still being in 59p as soon as that promo went :(

 

It'll give Sorry Not Sorry a minor boost, but I think New Rules will get a bigger boost due to being bumped up Hot Songs a bit than Demi will for appearing in 59p.

Sorry Not Sorry is 6th on Hot Songs?

Oh well that's already changed since it updated for me! It was like 30th when I looked about 15 minutes ago (and it looked like it had updated as Snakehips was at the top)

Or not, that appears to be just on Apple Music on the iPhone - though I don't understand why they'd have such a similar Hot Songs list order but with Sorry Not Sorry randomly miles apart.

So now dua is under hot new songs? First time?

On mine she's been bumped up a column which I think is the different between front page coverage without having to swipe along on mobile, but it looks like they may still be in the process of changing things as we're seeing different things!

They should've made New Rules 59p, but 2nd page Hot Songs is ok.

Dua is climbing the chart rapidly regardless of hot songs because she's picking up lots of airplay now. Power pretty much doubled in its sales last week when it went to 59p. I think Hot Songs and 59p have an equal effect, obviously both combined is even better. But the former gives much more than 'minor boosts', some songs just don't catch on as much.
