August 7, 20177 yr WAT Cool for the Summer, #Sorrynotsorry and Skyscraper and her three crownin jewels! Skyscraper even more for comin out with Video Games and Let Her Go and defining that sound.
August 7, 20177 yr Author 5th COOL FOR THE SUMMER 8.47 (more 11s) il9nqWw9W3Y UK peak: 7 (Silver) US peak: 11 (2x Platinum) Highest score: 11 (cqmerqn, Rob S, all is vanity, Jade, NickF1, burbe, Ryan) Lowest score: 1 (Shaphne) This got the most 11s but only finished 5th :o It did have a handful of below average scores though dragging it down a bit. This is easily one of her best songs, from first listen I knew it was one of those songs *.* From the sexy verses to the huge pop chorus that explodes into a synthesised banger of a drop, there isn't a second of this I don't adore. Bicurious anthem *.* Whilst a top 10 in the UK was good, at the time I felt it was a bit of a flop as weeks before we were all like "omg potential #1 it has so much hype", then it just sort of floundered top 10 and whilst that was good for her I felt a bit disappointed. But that doesn't stop it being an absolute banger ofc x
August 7, 20177 yr Author 4th REALLY DON'T CARE 8.50 OJGUbwVMBeA UK peak: #92 US peak: #26 (Platinum) Highest score: 11 (Harry, SamJudd, Shaphne, darkstar79, billy) Lowest score: 4.5 (Davidson) BANGER. It's no wonder that this attitude filled perfect pop song is seen as among Demi's best, there's just something about it. It was one of the instant highlights of her eponymous album for me, being quite Icona Pop and seeing Demi in a playful, sassy mood, defiant that she won't go back to a relationship she knows she is much better without. A rap verse from Cher Lloyd is perfect for this track too. So for the top 3 it's Confident vs. Heart Attack vs. Give Your Heart A Break in a straight fight out between songs from three different Demi albums! What will win? :o The top 2 was actually very close!
August 7, 20177 yr Expected 'Cool For The Summer' to be in the top 3 with it receiving so many 11s! It's her best for me by miles  I was expecting something quite naff from the cheesy sounding title but I was so wrong as it blew me away. The rocky breakdown in particular is a highlight *.* 'Heart Attack' to win out of those left!
August 7, 20177 yr Confident above Cool for the Summer? :o Didn't see that coming, don't think it's deserving really! Heart Attack to win please
August 7, 20177 yr 'Really Don't Care' is shit, why it is so high I will never know. The only time I have listened to it out of choice is to have a laugh at Pearl & Miss Fame's shite arm waving to the song. The top 3 are probably her best songs for me so I am happy with that. I'm backing 'Confident' but I have a feeling it will be 3rd.
August 8, 20177 yr Author 03 CONFIDENT 8.65 cwLRQn61oUY UK peak: #65 US peak: #21 Highest score: 11 (Davidson) Lowest score: 5 (darkstar79) It "only" got one 11 but Confident storms the top 3! It's not what I'd put in the top 3 but it's a very good song nonetheless. As the title suggests, this is a ballsy anthem, with the attitude built up by self-assured feminist lyrics and a striking instrumental. It's not her best as such but it's clearly well liked as it got a lot of high scores - darkstar's 5 is the only score it had below a 7. So that means the top 2 is the soaring, string laden pop anthem Give Your Heart A Break vs. the explosive perfect pop tune Heart Attack!
August 8, 20177 yr Confident's success surprises me, but its instrumental has probably become her most iconic at least in recent years thanks to its constant use in adverts and as TV soundbeds!
