This is the thing, I'm not saying this represents all Alex fans but they seem to be the ones giving the most insults, calling racism and scrutinizing non-fans opinions like it really matters  I understand there are problems with minority representation and there's a lot of unfairness but let's just accept everyone has their own thoughts.

No one said 'you're racist if you don't like Alexandra' or insulted you directly though?

I'm fine to accept others opinions, but if I feel passionately about something I'll speak up. No one is insulting you.

If anyone was being inidivudally attacked I'd have shut it down, this is a discussion forum with varying opinions being showcased, Jack has made a valid point about the audience as a whole not anybody individually in here, so can we stop the roundabout?

Debbie's judges pick is the Salsa which she scored 35 for!

From DS -

Given the score of 35 for Debbie's Salsa (week 8), the others might have for the judges pick: -

Alexandra - Tango - scored 35 Week 6

Gemma - Paso - Scored 35 - Week 4

Joe - Charleston scored 36 Week 7.

I'd be here for this!

The Judges' Pick

  • Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice will perform a Salsa to Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Boys Town Gang (originally scored 35/40 in Week 8)
  • Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez American Smooth to Wouldn't It Be Lovely from My Fair Lady (originally scored 33/40 in Week 3)
  • Joe McFadden and Katya Jones will Viennese Waltz to Somewhere My Love from Dr Zhivago (originally scored 32/40 in Week 3)
  • Gemma Atkinson and Aljaz Skorjanec dance the Paso Doble to Viva La Vida by Coldplay (originally scored 35/40 in Week 4)

Showdance

  • Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice will Showdance to One Day I'll Fly Away by Vaults
  • Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez will Showdance to There’s No Business Like Showbusiness by Ethel Merman
  • Joe McFadden and Katya Jones Showdance to You Make My Dreams by Hall & Oates
  • Gemma Atkinson and Aljaz Skorjanec Showdance to Show Me How You Burlesque by Christina Aguilera

What can we potentially deduce from this? Well, you'd have to argue Debbie is in the best position for her judges pick, a dance she did just 5 weeks ago whilst also gaining the joint highest points of those picks.

The showdance choices also tell us that Debbie will be going slower and more ballroom-esque, whilst we're getting full on energy from Alexandra, something probably quite jive-y and springy from Joe, and Gemma's will likely be very lift heavy but definitely provided potential for a wow moment.

What a random pick for Alexandra's judges choice although she'll slay anything. Joe's and Gemma's definitely right i think, I'd have chosen the Samba or Quickstep for Joe but one of those will probably be his own choice.
The judges pick is always something the judges feel they could improve on and seeing as Alexandra has slayed most weeks, I don't suppose it leaves them with much choice. They could've gone for her Tango where she scored 35 but Halloween make-up might have restricted their ability to choose that.
What is it about Alexandra you don't like? I just don't get why people seem to hate her

I find her very falsely modest. When she made a point of saying how much of a honour it was to close the show my eyes almost rolled out of my head.

Literally every contestant says the same thing every series!

literally everyone.. seriously, i wish someone would make a clip video of everyone saying the same thing.

i find it remarkable that people are only noticing it now?

Wtf how did Gemma not get 40 for that showdance, that was incredible.

Someone pissed in Craig's cornflakes this morning f***ing hell

How on earth was Joe's Showdance better than Gemma, let alone 2 points better....

I thought Gemma's showdance was comfortably the worst, thought the last 30 seconds or so with the lifts and what not were REALLY clumsy. I agreed with Craig.

Alexandra's Jive really will go down as a classic, what a performance

I agree with Craig too, Gemma often stops or struggles going from one section to another.

She’s certainly not on the same level as Alex, Debbie or Joe. I am urging Alex to win but I just know it’ll be Joe.

There's no way Joe isn't winning, but Danny Mac did have similarly decisive odds and still lost it so I guess it's not all lost!
Danny Mac didn’t work for the BBC though!

True dat

Danny Mac didn’t work for the BBC though!

This is my least favourite thing about Strictly/X factor etc, the conspiracy theories come out and god forbid Danny lost because he cocked up his Quickstep and no one watches Hollyoaks

So happy for Joe <3 Him and Katya were an electric pairing and she's the new queen pro *.* Debbie's showdance was absolutely STUNNING so she was the one I gave my votes to in the end but I would've been happy with any of Alex, Joe or Debbie!

Congratulations to Joe, his Charleston was definitely one of the highlights of the night! All personal feelings of who I wanted aside, it's not like a strong likeable dancer hasn't won at the end of it all. Katya's reaction was kinda worth it too, very appreciative and she's been one of, if not, the strongest choreographer this year.

A truly enjoyable final.
