They could easily just do a standalone single like Lady Gaga did with The Cure for example, I think it's overkill a bit to re-release the album

I don't think it's overkill at all, it's an easy way of making money while they work on a new album! It doesn't have to sell by the bucketload, but it'd increase the sales for sure and keep it selling well for a second Christmas in a row. With the NMSS and Power single mixes, Reggaetón Lento, a new single and maybe one or two other tracks, that's a cheap and easy way of making big money from a Glory Days re-issue. It's sensible I think, then they can take a bit of time out after the tour and work on a huge comeback with album 5 next year! A standalone single would be pretty pointless IMO, might as well make some easy money and chuck a new single onto a re-issue.

Yeah, I think a re-release would be VERY wise. A new album to me would be overkill, as they'd have another year's campaign to jump straight into. I say release a Q4 single, get that album (in re-released form) selling in high numbers again over Christmas, and then go quiet for 6/7 months, release a brand new single in Julyish and a second single with brand new album in Q4 2018.

They were very wise to rush Glory Days after Get Weird as they were onto something huge and needed to cement their status as a top tier UK act. But now they've done that they need to give us a break for at least the first half of 2018, to make us miss them and build up some buzz, as, over the past two years, there's not been a time when there's not been a current Little Mix single on the radio.

/\ Totally agree. I think a repack is a smart move to keep them around during the busiest time of the year and yet leaves room for them to go on a short break to make people miss them.

Also, I just really hope the repack has a decent cover because listening to Glory Days on Spotify with... that thing is always a tragic experience. I'll never get over someone thinking that looked good.

A repack would easily be the best move from them and a brand new single to promote it. If it is a decent repack i see no reason that it wont push sales up by 300,000.

I'm thinking they could get two, potentially three, slots on XF. I get the feeling Simon is gonna want CNCO on one of the first couple of live shows, Little Mix will then be back a couple of weeks later to prem a new single for the re-release or whatever they have planned (perhaps a standalone single?) And potentially back for the final to possibly duet with a finalist?

I'd be happy with a re-release as I would like the remixes all on one CD as well as 'Reggaetòn Lento' on it too! :P

I wonder if we'll get a TV show documentary this year on ITV?
I still think we're getting a re-release not a new album. The timing of RL is a bit off if they want to launch an entire new album this Autumn.
