it's nice to see that a lot more people have become genuinely interested in the charts over the last few weeks! reminds me of how it used to be every week pre-streaming and it's a bit of a shame that these exciting chart battles probably still won't be that frequent.

 

personally, I'm LOVING the inclusion of ACR in the chart, it's made sales mean something again and have a noticeable impact in the charts

This is because sales are so low and one song is not dominating ie 1k between 1 and 2 in today's spotify. When a big new release comes out it people will go off again for a while, it's a bit ironic as Alanis would say that people get more interested when less people are buying or streaming and when more people are buying less people want to talk about it.

Looking forward to Taylor Swift's comeback as it's been a while, but please no more Bieber #1s... If he hadn't featured on about 600 tracks since his last album I'd just about be able to cope with a new single.

Still, at least Dua Lipa will get a week at #1 which is a huge surprise!

This is a proper slow burner I have read a few comments from people who say I never liked Louis but heard this and can't stop listening to it again and a few people who relate to the lyrics of going back again and again to the same person.

 

They need to get back to UK and perform on One Show or something like that to make it really explode.
