August 11, 20177 yr Author Only seen 4/6 out of these and I do think he's pretty fab even if he plays different versions of himself a lot of the time in a way. A shame he's got a bit lazy with recent films and roles because he's shown that he can do so much better than his recent output :((( 1 Alfie 2 Educating Rita 3 The Cider House Rules 4 Hannah and Her Sisters It feels a bit weird putting his two wins at the bottom of the pile but as mentioned above, his earlier roles are definitely stronger than his older roles. He was overshadowed by pretty much everyone in HAHS tbh, not sure why they singled him out for the win there even though he did a decent job. Alfie definitely feels a bit dated now but he nailed that sort of character and was really funny too, definitely feels like a classic sort of Michael Caine role so I'd have to put that top of my rankings
August 12, 20177 yr OMG I haven't seen any of these  I've only seen him in a few movies, fave being Miss Congeniality, simply due to him being this uber camp man totally goes against the Cockney type I associate him with
