Jessie J has come out of the blue with a brand new release, and it's "Real Deal" which legitimately sounds like a 2004's urban album filler track.

This isn't even THAT bad, it's too bland to be terrible :lol: But like.... why?

I absolutely agree with that - it's done WELL for what it is, but it is probably the most dated and out of touch lead single (if that's what it is) I've ever heard from a big pop female :mellow:

the only reason the last album did anything is because of Bang Bang & she was not the reason it was a hit.

if she gets a feature or a collab she may have another hit but she's notoriously hated isn't she so doubtful..

It wouldn't surprise me if her label isn't pleased what she's recorded, so they're letting her put this out as a way of showing that "hey, your material sucks, in the studio with you!!!"

For me, DILAD has always been so glaringly different to everything that came after that I'm convinced she was just messing around when she made that song and that everything else since has been the real Jessie. Unfortunately she just has quite poor taste in music.
