It should be, I might check the stores here over the weekend to see what’s what and if it’s stocked here given that the original sold very well here comparatively

  • Updated sales here: Too Lost In You over half a mil to become their third biggest seller. Round Round just under the half mil at 499k

  • Stronger, Shape, In The Middle, Caught in a Moment and Red Dress should all be above Get Sexy! That whole Sweet 7 era needs erasing tbh. 🧙‍♀️

  • Some estimates for future certifications! Too Lost in You - Platinum - 600,000 - March 2026 Push the Button - 2xPlatinum - 1,200,000 - July 2026 Round Round - Platinum - 600,000 - September 2027 Abou

It's showing on the website, so surely will be in store, they could've done some extra store signings or something.

My copy of Saint Etienne's I've Been Trying to Tell You arrived at the local record shop today, so I'll swing by tomorrow to see if they have anything. I doubt it though, since it isn't a local release. I assume it might come in later with imports. Not that I need more copies of One Touch at this rate anyway.

I’m guessing they are still trying to work out how „big“ this would be and maybe stuff like that is saved for new music.

Im still convinced this entire thing is an elaborate (and expensive for us) market research plan so they know how to launch new music. Too much effort has been put into this for just a simple remaster and vinyl drop

I agree and I've said the same thing - this is clearly a way for them to gauge interest and see how much they can milk us. It's also a pretty safe way to do it since I'm sure any extra copies will either eventually be sold or shipped to various stores, so it's unlikely they'll end up having a huge storage to deal with. I assume they might end up setting up their own label and get a distribution deal, so this is basically free market research courtesy of London Records.

I'm happy to let them milk away, gotta think if they'd kept up with releasing new music since 2013, we'd have probably spent so much more by now over time.

It seems to be the way these days that artists actually earn their cash. Merch and tours and if that means we get new music then fire away, I’ll shell out every 18 months or so for some stuff. It’s like 10€ a month it’s totally fine.

Might just open a Sugababes savings account now

From the OCC, full article here.

I hope Overload, Run For Cover and New Year can inch up a few places once this campaign is done.
The Top 20 is more or less the same as it was two years ago other than 'Overload' climbing 10-8 and 'Girls' falling 8-10 - really good going for 'Overload'! :o

That would be lovely. I'm hoping for the same.

Given Overload's update from last week, it's good to have confirmation that Ugly and (especially!) Hole In The Head are now over 231k.

Now for an albums update please, OCC. -_-

Yes an albums update would be nice!! Maybe to coincide with them confirming a new peak for OT

Ohhh i have plenty of updating to do this weekend

Bit annoying nothing was majorly announced for AYN reaching 1 million, I wonder if Heidi or Amelle even know.

Sorry to double post but the first post for AYN says 908,000 (as of October 2020), so has it sold 110k in a year :o

Push The Button would have appeared to have sold 135k in 2 years too as it was previously 640,000 (as of October 2019).

Oh those are great sales!!! Must be doing solid streaming numbers then for them for them to have had such a bump in a year.

I can’t imagine it was digital downloads that drove that

I think Spotify do favour them in quite a lot of playlists which is always good.

So many milestones in the world of Sugababes are just tainted by the lineup changes, unfortunately.

Amazing to see PTB and AYN thriving on streaming! And I can't wait for the day that FLM goes gold.

Omg I'm so thick, I was literally sat looking at FLM thinking to myself Follow me home, we'll all be dead by then.

My fault for abbreviating! And yes, we'll all be long, long, loooong dead when that happens.
