It annoys me way more than it should that the GH cd is not stocked properly. It should be like ABBA Gold stocked cheap everywhere.

Also they need to do another vinyl with the original cover, scam some more sales out of us fans.

A meaningless new GH vinyl with nothing new to it but a change of cover? We love a Spice money scam :teresa:

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

Tbf it took me until Xmas this year to get the current GH vinyl (and I still haven’t bothered with the picture vinyl) however I would buy the original cover release straight away, I’ve grown to love that cover it would look fab on a vinyl! 😍

Oh yes I would buy it too straight away lol but a new vinyl with no new incentives other than the original cover is just a money grabbing exercise lol

The picture disc isn't easy to get new now, they have definitely stopped printing that now. It's been out of stock on Amazon for months and isn't even listed on HMV anymore. Most vinyl stores online don't stock it now.
Thats is a nice little update!!
'When You're Gone' has sold 901,000 units :cheer:

Wow so in a years time maybe it’ll be a million seller?

Yes but sadly streaming sales are so inflated that 1m means very little now. It's really frustrating the occ let streaming get out of control and didn't cap or keep changing the ratio for streaming sales.

I've updated the first page to include Melanie C's Live at Shepherd's Bush digital album, and I've added Into You (even though we have no chart/sales information about it at all lol)
Thanks Jay, do you have information on the charity single Stop Crying Your Heart Out? sales and chart-run

I've added that in now :cheer:

Gosh it would be real good if Say You'll Be There and Spice Up Your Life in particular got a good push over the next couple of years due to the celebrations of Spice and Spiceworld 25th anniversaries.

Would be good to see them BOTH go double platinum soon :teresa:

Say You'll Be There is pretty close so I could see it going Platinum next year maybe? If the celebrations this year prove successful, we might definitely see it doing the double in 2022 :cheer:

EDIT: Ignore me, I read this wrong and totally thought SYBT was closer than it is... I guess 100k sales in one year is a bit much to expect ah

Nice! :cheer:

I estimate that What Took You So Long? will exceed 300,000 some time between August and October 2021. Gold is a long way off, but at the current rate it will happen in the mid 2030s... maybe in time for Emma's 60th birthday ( :drama: )

What I Am is selling very slowly - it might make it to 250,000 in 2025.

What Took You So Long and the debut album are both 20 this April so maybe some casual downloading and a streaming push will help a little.

For sure. Hope that she does put out some incentives for people to stream/buy.

A vinyl for AGLM would do wonders for the album's visibility
