Greatest Hits moved up the chart to #151. That is its highest chart position since February 1st, when it was #148.

It soldd 867 copies (135 cds, 121 downloads, 611 streaming). Total is now 585,022. Seems highly unlikely that it'll cross over 600,000 during the tour. :(

Moves up the download chart to #73. It's not in the sales, physicals or streaming charts.

Emma stats are on the previous page, if you missed those: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=6240123

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

Pleased that Emma's album is selling still even if not in huge amounts. 20k by year end isn't a terrible result.

I expect the GH to fly up this week well inside the top 100.

Only 14 978 copies to go :arrr:

Honestly, if the cd was properly stocked I feel that would've added more copies to the total.

It is actually well stocked in local HMVs and supermarkets (that I have seen at least). What she needs is continuous promo, which she cant do right now due to the SG tour, and better plan for increasing streaming.

She really needs radio support beyond BBC2 and she needs to get on the road - go perform at festivals, do gigs, etc. Untill she goes into those teritories, she will struggle to sell anything properly.

I was referring to the Greatest Hits. I've heard it's not that well stocked.

Oh, that is much better stocked than Emma's album, thats for sure. The standard version is available and very well visible everywhere, which is why it keeps sticking around the charts...

In fairness I’d say the reason is streaming, its CD sales are a bit meh at the moment.

The GH stocking is very poor right now. It disappeared from supermarkets in about February and hasn't been restocked yet. Hopefully it will be asap with the tour so close.

Emma's album is now 5 quid at Asda too, hopefully it will help it keep selling.

Strange. I see the GH and Emma's album really well stocked all over Brighton and the places that I go to in South East England.

Greatest Hits is midweek #112 today! Would be very nice to see it back in the Top 100 in advance of the shows, fingers crossed.

Sadly My Happy Place isn’t in the Top 200 mids.

Greatest Hits is midweek #106 today - let's hope it can sneak into the Top 100 in tomorrow's chart!

OCC Singles Update

Wannabe - 1.71 million

2 Become 1 - 1.25 million

Mama/WDYTYA - 786,000 (combined)

Viva Forever - 740,000

Holler/LLLTW- 287,000

Great to have some sales updates!

The 786k figure for M/WDYTYA will be the sales of the Double A Side single that only includes Who Do You Think You Are downloads and streams & the original CDs & cassettes. Back in April 2019, Mama downloads/streams counted in made it 862,000! I estimate it'll be on 864,000 overall now. So 78,000 sales for Mama in its own right.

Greatest Hits climbed to #107, selling 1,105 copies. 174 CDs, 224 Downloads, 707 Streaming. New total: 586,128.

Will be very interesting to see how it does in the UK next week. If it doubled those weekly sales to 2,210 it would go back into the Top 40.

Increases:

89,150 - Wannabe (in 27 weeks) // 3,302 sales on average per week

34,000 - 2 Become 1 (in 29 weeks) // 1,172 sales on average per week

23,000 - Mama / Who Do You Think You Are (in 29 weeks) // 793 sales on average per week (Remember that this is just Who Do You Think You Are's downloads & streaming contribution)

11,000 - Viva Forever (in 27 weeks) // 407 sales on average per week

7,000 - Holler / Let Love Lead the Way (in 29 weeks) // 241 sales on average per week (Only Holler sales contribute to this Double A Side)

At this rate, Wannabe will pass 1,800,000 (and therefore certify 3xPlatinum) by December 2019. However, presumably its streaming will go crazy over the next month, so it could easily certify before then. We may see it pass 2 million by January 2021, in advance of its 25th anniversary. 2,400,000 (4xPlatinum) could be achieved by May 2023. 3,000,000 (5xPlatinum) in November 2026.

2 Become 1 is on course to pass 1,300,000 by March 2020, but again with increased streaming over the next month + the boost it receives every Christmas, it could reach that figure earlier than then. It's currently on course to reach 1,500,000 by June 2023. 1,800,000 (3xPlatinum) by May 2028.

Mama / Who Do You Think You Are should reach 800,000 before September 2019. It will potentially be a million seller by July 2024 if it keeps up at this pace. Again, this wouldn't include Mama's separate sales. If Mama was included, I think it would pass 1m overall by September 2021! I'm estimating a split of ~882,000 for M/WDYTYA and ~118,000 for Mama, by that date. At its current rate of selling, I don't think Mama has much of a chance of going Silver in its own right before 2026.

Viva Forever - seems like it could pass 800,000 by March 2022? A million sales won't be happening any time soon, I estimate August 2031.

Holler / Let Love Lead the Way - it might finally pass 300,000 by June 2020. Gold (400,000) will take forever unfortunately, at its current rate it would pass 400k in May 2028!

Who knows what chart rules and ways of consuming music will change over the years though! Sales could speed up or slow down.

Thanks JAY

Holler deserves so much better!!! It should be Platinum just like the rest of their best (no shade for Stop!).

Great news about the rest too. So we could be seeing a triple platinum soon for Wannabe which is nice and very well deserved. That song really defined a generation of people hey? Good on them!

You're welcome!

I wish Holler had better sales too! :( It'll be nice to see it pass 300,000 at least, because it's quite literally been stuck in the 200,000-ish area for 18 years lol

Just for future reference, these are details from the November 2018 version of Official Charts' article:

Wannabe, with 1.61 million combined sales (split between 1.3 million sales and 31 million streams)

2 Become 1: It's sales to date stand at 1.21 million, made up of 1.14 million sales and 7.6 million streams.

Who Do You Think You Are: 763,000 combined sales to date.

Viva Forever: ranks as their seventh biggest single overall with 726,000 combined sales.

Holler/Let Love Lead the Way: places tenth on their best-sellers with 280,000 combined sales.

Will be very interesting to see how it does in the UK next week. If it doubled those weekly sales to 2,210 it would go back into the Top 40.

Looking at how it shot up to #24 on the Irish albums chart before the show, I think it'll at least go top 20 next week in the UK.
