The more they do as a group the more the GH sells so fingers crossed we get an announcement of something new soon.

I mean, during the years of very little activity it's sold around 20k per year, so with that rate it'll take... oh around 18 years? Of course, if they continue doing things together it'll speed up the process considerably. :P

Let's hope it gets to it by the 40th anniversary then, when they are all 60 years old headlining Glastonbury for the 3rd time B-)

GH midweek #69 today :( I guess it'll drop even more by the Friday chart. A shame to see it plummet!

What a shame they didn't capitalise after Wembley with some GH adverts on TV as well as the vinyl release.

Yes the albums didn’t make the Top 100 on the midweek chart. Shame it’s dropped so dramatically. They should have played the advert on the screens like they did for ‘My Happy Place’ and the Walkers Ad.

 

Seeing as it’s dropped so low, I wonder if the vinyl will have any impact on the charts now?

It's incredible how bad the promo around the GH has been since the beginning, specially during this return. They literally sold quite a lot on the back of the tour - if it had had better promo, they would totally get back into the Top10 and sell much better :angry:

Any news on where it charted this week at all? And are we definitely to asume that this week is now the one where the GH vinyl will also count towards the chart?

 

Sorry, a bit confused with the GH situation as the UK date as moved about a bit lol

It charted at #113 last week. The vinyl is out this week, mine was delivered today, so we should see the impact of that in Monday's midweeks and Friday's final chart.

 

It is stocked in all HMVs as well as the Amazon orders.

Seems like the GH is #11 in the Weds midweeks! Get buying/streaming/downloading :wub:
