For Friday’s chart I’m predicting maybe #16.

Ended up at #15! That's Greatest Hits' fifth highest chart position, and its first time in the Top 15 since 2007!

 

2,502 sold on vinyl - it's #1 in the vinyl chart :D

It's also #7 in the Physical chart and #8 in the Sales chart!

 

A shame that it wasn't close to being Top 10 overall (it would have needed to sell 1,066 more copies to be #10).

 

Its original release date was 31st May. If it had sold 2,502 vinyl in that week (7th June chart), they would have sold 6,534 sales overall and been #8 instead of #16. In fact, 1,925 vinyl sold would have been enough for #8 that week. 1,198 vinyl is all it would have taken for them to be Top 10.

 

On the bright side, if the second release date of 28th June had actually happened (5th July chart), they would have only been #19. Delaying a week helped them be Top 15 instead #silverlinings. ^_^

At the least it stayed Top 15 and the albums first time in that region of the chart in 12 years.

Thanks for the info Jay. Amazing that they are number 1 on the vinyl album chart, vinyl is so important to all artists these days. They really need to sort a Spiceworld vinyl asap.

The album will likely sink in the charts this week.

I am hopeful for another week in the Top 75 region of the chart.

I haven't focused on the album making 3x platinum i am more 94,000 to cross 700,000.

#98 in the midweeks. Should be able to stay in the top 200 at least, but yeah. I had hoped them going #1 on vinyl and top 15 would've had a bit of an impact to at least make them stay top 15. But oh well, another week on the charts look likely.

I knew a sharp drop was coming this week but it has falling way more than i expected.

That's very steep but it might climb during the week.

Well the vinyl had weeks and weeks of pre-orders so it was inevitable it would have a heavy drop. The GH is all about selling in the long run, the 3k extra last week and top 15 were an added bonus.

It's done well picking up extra sales over the years since its release and it will continue picking up more sales. I'd love forever to get some form of re release to get it to platinum.

I don't think they'll ever bother with Forever, especially since it's already platinum officially due to shipments. Plus it's at 270k last I saw so a re-release probably wouldn't push it there either way.

I would greatly welcome Forver reaching platinum sales as all there albums would be platinum status if it happened.

30,000 sales is possible if a re release happened, as it would help trickle sales further on.

A bonus cd of the tour attached to Forever followed by a vinyl release could really get it the required 30,000.
