19th November is definitely more likely for the album I’d imagine.

Can’t see her releasing same day as ABBA but imagine the chart battle if she did!

I wonder if Adele’s gonna be on streaming from day one this time.

Thinking it’s probably more than likely she will as streaming counts for way more than it did back in 2015. But really intrigued at how her single does in pure sales as I think it could be the biggest selling non charity release for a while.

IF Adele releases i want it to be a seperate week to ABBA, Ed Sheeran etc, let all the big releases get their week/s at number 1 as the albums market needs a good sales boost and Abba, Adele and Ed Sheeran are 3 releases that can do that. I miss the days of big album sales or weeks when albums consistently sold 100k plus.

Adele & Taylor would be a huge selling top 2 in the US if 19th November is the actual release date.

Didn't she say at some point that she wasn't going to be continuing the pattern of naming her albums after her age though?

she always had her singles on streaming

My bad.

I knew 25 the album wasn’t on there immediately though. I didn’t realise the singles were.

I always used to think When We Were Young could’ve charted higher peak wise had 25 been on streaming at the time but I must’ve remembered the era differently in terms of the rollout

I really hope she does go the same week as ABBA just to watch the insanity unfold.
It’s true that releasing Ed’s album on the 29/10 is a huge sign something must be coming in late November or he would have pinpointed that date as it’s closeness to Christmas would mean even higher sales!
yeah i don't think we can underestimate 'red'... even though there's been a slight Taylor overload, with the 10 minute version of 'All Too Well' coming, I imagine 'Red' will be HUGE.

Hello was originally the only song available on streaming until each single 'release' so WWWY was only added in around Jan or Feb time(?) when it was officially a single. IIRC 25 itself was added to streaming services around the time she did Glastonbury and Send My Love's single campaign was in full push mode.

Well he may have known ABBA was coming and worked around that. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in contact with Adele casually anyway they certainly have been in the past, not surprising giving their the two biggest solo British artists of the last decade.

I think it's quite likely we'll get

Ed Sheeran - 29th October

ABBA - 5th November

Adele- 12th November

Taylor - 19th November

Why on earth she calling it 30, she's 33....

19 is the only album she's released which corresponded with what her age was at the time of its release.

Adele's date of birth: 5 May 1988

28 Jan 2008 - '19' - Adele's age: 19

24 Jan 2011 - '21' - Adele's age: 22

20 Nov 2015 - '25' - Adele's age: 27

When she released 25 she said that the album's lyrics are a reflection of the frame of mind she was in during that age. So if her next album is called 30, presumably it'll be for the same reason.

She can't get them out on time, fair enough. :w00t:

The Taylor album is definitely on the 19th, that was announced ages ago.

So Adele either the 12th or the 26th.

As if the Taylor album is a threat to any megastar. It's just a re-recording, nothing more.

she said in an interview a while ago that album 4 wouldn't be called after her age (at the time of recording it)

I think calling it just Adele would be an even stronger statement
