I can't help but feel that people are relying too much on nostalgia for BTMYH (just like we who didn't vote Sometimes). I like it, but it's so... I dunno... at least with YDMC and BOMT they're actual bangers. I don't want to say it's "bland" but it's so... inoffensive (for lack of a better word) and just... there. I feel like it's a bit too overrated. Lol.

I feel like it's a bit too overrated. Lol.

The middle 8 / key change towards the end of BTMYH is a MOMENT. Whilst yes, there is some nostalgia attached the song, for me it still stands up with the rest of her earlier classics. I love it because it's so simple, it relies more on her singing as opposed to the production.

Or we simply feel differently towards the song. To me its my favorite out of her entire catalogue, I love everything about the song. To me, its an actual "banger". Sure there'a degree of nostalgia too but that applies to all her earlier songs really. I also feel that the later half of her career post ITZ is very overrated on this board tbh.
