Mariah today announced two UK dates on her annual 'All I Want for Christmas is You' concert, in Manchester and London on the 10th and 11th December respectively. This is on top of five Vegas shows over December and her current ongoing US tour.

 

PLUS, in July she announced her new Christmas single, "The Star", taken from the film of the same name and starring Oprah Winfrey and Kelly Clarkson *.* (Trailer and awkward announcement by Mariah herself here).

 

Finally, if that wasn't enough, "All I Want for Christmas is You" itself is being made into a MOVIE (with another awkward video announcement here).

I know it's still September, so obviously a bit too early to get excited over BUT I would love to see her on tour! :o They're her first dates Christmas concerts outside of New York apparently, I'm surprised she got Arenas to be honest but she would feel very out of place in an Apollo or O2 Academy somewhere :lol: I imagine "The Star" will get an X Factor performance too so another stiff interview with Dermot coming *_*

Why? I went to her UK arena tour last year and it looked relatively full.

I can't wait for this!! So unexpected. I'm getting tickets to see her in London, I can't wait! I can't believe I'll be seeing her for the second time when not so long ago I didn't think I'd ever get the chance lol.

I really wish I could go to one of her Christmas shows, but I'm not sure I can justify it sadly! :snif: Hope anyone who goes here has an amazing time... All I Want For Christmas Is You live at an arena though *.*

I like that it's upbeat but it sounds like it's trying to be "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" or something like that. I think I'll stick with "All I Want for Christmas is You" which has just charted at #89 in the UK - 88 positions higher than the same week last year! :o
