February 10, 20187 yr me during that ‘what has happened in the outside world’ segment, pretending to know what they were on about: yet they still gave more reaction than last year’s BBUK housemates when they heard the general election results Also the cynical me feels they were told to keep James because he’s the producers wet dream in what they keep looking for in the diary room ie irritating
February 10, 20187 yr Not this cast playing more game in one week than the cast of BB19 played in the entire season!!
February 10, 20187 yr Omarosa was such a genius casting, I'm shook that BB has clout in the political world rn  Brandi is low-key making me howl in the diary room but she's a bit of a knob, she's probably the only one who seems to not particularly care about the game and is clearly in it for the money, whereas pretty much all the others are really in it to win, apart from Metta who seems to just be there. I think they're mostly maybe playing too hard too fast but I'm here for the mess and excitement, MUCH better than everyone playing for Paul in BB19. Marissa could defintiely win this the way she's going! Shannon is gonna be like 2nd or 3rd out after playing too hard too fast Cody style sadly.
February 10, 20187 yr i've not been watching but i rly want to to watch queen ross mathews - hope she's coming across well xxx
February 10, 20187 yr i've not been watching but i rly want to to watch queen ross mathews - hope she's coming across well xxx He's slaying IMO. Great episode for him last night. He and Shannon totally flipped the script. The only thing I'm worried about is someone like Mark or James winning HOH, them taking a shot at the girls and missing and Ross being a casualty.
February 13, 20187 yr Queen Ross trying to build up his resume, only to be foiled by Keisha. I do feel bad, but.. still disappointed. Hoping James throws HOH to someone like Marissa or Brandi so they can take out Shannon. Queen Ross for the next HOH to continue that resume build gurl.
February 13, 20187 yr I don't get why Keshia signed up if she couldn't be away from her daughter for that long? Glad we don't lose Legendrosa yet though *.* this is so much better than the last 2 or 3 seasons or so of BBUS tbh.
February 13, 20187 yr omg I can’t believe we were going to get one of the biggest blindsides of the past few years but it was stopped because of breastmilk
February 14, 20187 yr I'm actually glad the blindside didn't happen, I'm really enjoying watching Shannon play so hard and didn't want her to leave so soon. Omarosa is fascinating too of course and would've been a huge loss, whereas I won't miss Keshia nearly as much. Ross is AMAZING too, he carries himself so well in the house  Yeah I'm already feeling like this is one of the best seasons of BB US ever and it's still the first week, probably more a testament to how painful the last few years have been
February 24, 20187 yr I'm such a flop and behind but my god Omarosa is incredible as a HM. I never thought I'd Omarosa to win anything let alone Big Brother
February 25, 20187 yr I'm on Omarosa's first HOH and am having to catch up before the final tonight, it's gone so quick  The final HOH is a bit broken, they get to evict TWO people. I think either Ross has this which I'm good with tbh!
February 25, 20187 yr I've watched the first 10 episodes today and Metta has just been evicted. Omarosa is an interesting HM, however I can't see her winning although she is a fantastic player I have a feeling (unfortunately) that Mark will win. Would prefer Ross to slay tbh... or Ariadna
February 26, 20187 yr In memory of iconic queen Omarosa </3 Ross is gonna win America's fave and the cash isn't he?
February 26, 20187 yr f***s sake. I knew she won when they were all going on about honesty  I get that Ross messed up not having the integrity to keep up with all the jury and keep on their good side, but she did basically nothing apart from that last HOH and the one veto. This is exactly why they need to be sequestered and why since Danielle was robbed in season 3 they do exactly that! Oddly I think Marissa taking Ross through won her the game, on surface level it looked like she was doing a Cody Calafiore but I think it worked in her favour when people looked at her integrity through the game - if she didn't stay true to her to her word with Ross she'd have burst her whole game. And I think they saw that and thought she's put her $250k at risk so she deserves this, which I still don't think constitutes being a deserving player but hey. Ross is right though, to be a great player you can't always be honest and straight with everyone. I'd much rather have someone like him or Shannon or Omarosa who did whatever it took to win, than Marissa. Sure, she was nice to everyone but she was carried by Ross so it feels somewhat farcical for her to beat him. There was just too much weight on there last HOH which is just part of it being a bit messy with the format being condensed. Great series overall though, better than anything of the main show since BB14! Also James top 3 for America's fave, good lord
February 26, 20187 yr I just have to say, this was a great season. I did not come into this with very high expectations and I was blown away. Can't wait for Celebrity Big Brother 2. With that being said, when Marissa won that last HOH I thought to myself, oh.. we're going to have another season that's great but shouldn't be remembered for the winner.. then she took Ross to the end and thought he was going to win until you saw that bitter jury. I really don't think not sequestering the Jury had anything to do with Ross not winning. But, it was clear he played the better game. Really don't know how you can fix this problem TBH. This was probably one of the best seasons we've had in a while. I'm not opposed to getting shorter seasons. They need to do more live Veto Competitions/Evictions.. clearly. Overall Ranking: 01: Ross: Clearly. He made this bitch his game. I'm a little disappointed he didn't win. He did such an excellent job - I'm so proud of how far he has come! 02: Omarosa: SPILL THAT TEA. I think she may be a little high for me, the next three were impossible to rank, but.. I have to admit.. she came in with high expectations and she delivered full stop. 03: Brandi: THIS WAS THE BRANDI I KNOW AND LOVE. We all know she didn't come in here expecting to win, but I love that we got the Brandi that was crass and vulgar like TRHW, but also a vulnerable Brandi. I never would have thought she would have been friends with Ari - but that friendship seems honest and genuine. 04: Ariadna: I know the Drama circulating why she is here, and completely wrote her off episode 1. Didn't think she'd do well, didn't really give a crap about her. But, she's just the sweetest person we have had in ages. I think she's stunning, I hope she goes far in life - we need more genuine, honest people like her!! 05: James: Yeah, he was the villain of the season I guess? I never wanted to root for him at all. I wanted him to go home almost every week, but.. beneath that all he's still a very good looking, genuine person. 06: Marissa: A little disappointed she won, as I've said a few times now. I just wish the Week 1 Marissa stayed the entire way through. I would have been equally happy if Week 1 Marissa won over Ross.. but, I don't think she was able to keep up with the gameplay. 07: Shannon: Wow, I can't believe I'm putting her this low. Partly because she went out semi-early and partly because once she found the chips were against her.. she kid of gave up. I think she was victim to the fact that this was an expedited game.. she also failed because she was to loyal and tried to protect so many people. I'm not putting her below Marissa/James because she should have know this going in, being the BB Superfan she was. Put your game first girl. 08: Mark: Only a notch above the rest because he had potential. 09: Metta: Completely random, but, endearing. 10: Chuck: I don't remember anything positive about him TBH? 11: Keisha: Yeah, sorry. Quitters go to the bottom. I understand why you left.. don't get me wrong.. but.. come on! Edited February 26, 20187 yr by Aaron.
February 26, 20187 yr This is exactly why they need to be sequestered and why since Danielle was robbed in season 3 they do exactly that! I said to my friend the other day they should have sequestered the Jury. They all agreed to be gone that long.. LOCK THEM AWAY AGAIN. But, I honestly don't think Ross would have won with a sequestered Jury either. I think a sequestered jury would have found his gameplay sloppy, and it was. When you're locked away with a whole bunch of people.. the only thing you have to talk about is the game.. Ross would have been found out one way or another. Marissa's hands were relatively clean unfortunately.
February 26, 20187 yr Best way to fix it is for people to stop being bitter af  But that's easy to say sat watching, I'd love to say I'm a fan of the show and will always vote for the best player, but if thaf best player stabbed me in the back I'm unsure if it would be that easy in reality  I liked and disliked that the competitions mattered seemingly more this time, obviously you win and rather than a week of safety, days later you're fighting again and I quite liked that. Anything could happen and things could change in mere days, with just one competition. I know that's often true of BB but I think also it didn't go on long enough for it to get stale with the same people winning HOH etc, like the bomb squad in BB14 for example. So the short series worked well for me, BBCan do the long haul fine but BBUS does often get a bit stale. And perhaps the celebs will have to be on the toes next time and rethink what they think the game is, as it's clearly different in such a condensed timeframe. Also omg at me calling Marissa a few posts up, mystic Meg hu x
February 26, 20187 yr Just read the winner - a little meh, especially as she wasn't exactly a key player and more a pawn for the likes of the heavy weights in the game to be there to secure numbers for each vote. I guess she gained HoH when it mattered, but was hardly a key figure and won due to Ross being the alternative who was seen as not as trustworthy. I think though Ross probably would've lost to all of the other finalists other than Omarosa; however I think his play was great, maybe in a longer series the alliances wouldn't have changed and fractured and changed etc so many times so he didn't end up in so many pacts etc. This is actually my first experience of US Big Brother as a whole, so may try and find some other series' online
