The question this week is not if Sam Smith will enter at #1 but how much he'll sell to do so. The long-awaited comeback single 'Too Good At Goodbyes' is the first taken from his second album 'TPH-50HR'. Also out this week is 'Dusk Till Dawn', a ZAYN and Sia duet which could easily make this week's top 10. Other new tracks include George Michael's first posthumous release 'Fantasy', the return of U2 with 'You're the Best Thing About Me', Kelly Clarkson's comeback 'Love So Soft', and songs by Nadine Coyle, Hailee Steinfeld and Tove Lo could also challenge for the top 100. In the album chart The National are looking for a #1 album with 'Sleep Well Beast'. Other top 10 contenders come from Nothing But Thieves 'Broken Machine' and Jack Johnson 'All the Light Above It Too' whilst other new releases come from Tori Amos, Thomas Rhett, Nick Mulvey, ODESZA, Sparks and more.

Could be another week with a lot of new enteries on the album charts, as well as the albums mentioned, Neil Young might do well with Hitchhiker, doing well on amazon physical sales. Also the new album by The Waterboys should chart

hope The National and Tori Amos do well

could The National grab a surprise #1??

Sam Smith will be the 11th new #1 single of 2017, at least we have beaten last year's record of 10 #1s. Could see another 5 or 6 more before the end of the year, if Sam Smith doesn't hang around that long.

I can't see Sam Smith doing more than two weeks at #1, something else will come along soon now we're starting to get into a more busy release schedule. The new Taylor Swift song could get there soon once it gets airplay and a music video, if we don't have another high profile release this month.
BUSY week, love it

Quiet week in the upper reaches of Album chart though.

Quiet week in the upper reaches of Album chart though.

Don't do Tori Amos like that

Don't do Tori Amos like that

I do like Tori Amos but it is more than 19 years since she made the Top 10 however lower Sales may be to her advantage this week.

The National, Nothing But Thieves, Tori Amos and Sparks should all go top 10/15 but I was referring more to singles chart with two new entries in top ten (I think Dusk Till Dawn can make it although it's only #13 on Spotify)
The National would appear to have a decent chance of getting the top spot, their previous Studio Album (in 2013) opened at #3 with Sales of 21k - also think Neil Young will do well.

Feel like the next #1 will be a Clean Bandit track.

one that features Jess Glynne, Queen of Music? *.*

please let that be a reality.

But isnt the next CB supposed to be with

Sam Smith?

The National's High Violet is one of the best albums ever

Everybody should check it
