There is no movement at the top this week as Avicii remains the #1 song on the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary for a third week in total. The rest of the Top 4 remains unchanged also. Real Life falls a few places this week meaning everything else moves up, starting with Pnau who climb to #5. Former South Danaelandan entries from DJ Licious and Oliver Moldan remain in the Top 10 this week. I Hear You Calling, from the former, is this weeks Track Of The Week. The biggest climber of the week comes from BUNT. feat. Alexander Tidebrink who move up 16 places this week to peak at #7. Dua Lipa manages to avoid dropping out of the Top 10 this week at the expense of James Hype.

Galantis manage to climb even further this week with True Feeling, just as their album The Aviary gets released. The highest new entry this week comes from British mixed group Steps with Neon Blue. This is their third appearance on the Top 40 Countdown this year following Scared Of The Dark and Story Of A Heart. DJ's Martin Garrix and MK are both on the rise as their latest singles move into the Top 20 this week.

A further two new entries make their way into the Top 40 this week, and one of these comes from the guys responsible for the hit single Sunshine in 2016. TIEKS have teamed up with Chaka Khan and Popcaan and created another dance anthem. Callum Beattie is the other new entry this week.

This week we say goodbye to Demi Lovato, Zedd and former Zanmatony entry from Paradisio.

Great to see New Rules was a #1 here. Everyone seems to love it and it's easy to see why, one of the best pop songs of the year.

 

Also brilliant to see Look What You Made Me Do climbing. A lot of people seem to find it underwhelming but I think it's a great lead single. Very infectious.

In The Morning was such a fab BJSC winner, and seems tailor made for chart success so I hope it's huge (I think the chance has passed, alas </3)!

1UL looks set for a lengthy chart run here, at least 10 weeks of it featuring I would predict! Maybe it should have charted a long time ago! :o

 

I really do hope that In The Morning goes on to be huge, it is still playlisted on Radio 1 I believe, so there is some hope.

Great to see Danny L Harle make a belated appearance in this chart, 1UL is hands down my favourite dance song of the year, and so under-rated, it really didn't deserve to flop :(

 

I'm still liking 'Without You' so I'm happy to see that at #1 but 'Lonely Together' is growing on me now so hopefully that can become a more sizeable hit. Good to see MK and Martin Garrix on the climb too, both great songs.

 

That Steps remix is pretty good too (but then the whole abum is actually decent!)
