Free music is a joke no matter what! I know some people cant afford things but it is sad to see music (art) going for nothing. I stream as a tenner a month is crazy but buy albums too. She has every right not to just give her music away.

they only have to pay a fiver then they can cancel their subscription at the end of the month, surely if they really want the album that badly they'll be able to save up five pounds?

Or they can just wait a few more weeks before it becomes available to Free users. I admire the strategy here, her sales are definitely benefitting from holding off Spotify for the first week and then the premium exclusive afterwards gives users an extra incentive to actually buy a Spotify subscription.

The young Taylor Swift fans probably have Spotify premium, they probably have Spotify family accounts but it shall be interesting to see how well do the songs well in the charts which are premium only, especially Endgame
