Posted October 4, 20177 yr I know One Dance dropped down to number 5 in the week it finally ended it's 15 week run at the top but I have always thought that because Cold Water features a really big superstar in Bieber then Drake's record company and his fans would have realised it had no chance of toppling it otherwise they would fought tooth and nail to ensure that it at least equalled Bryan Adams' record. Anyone else agree? Edited October 4, 20177 yr by zenon

Anyone else agree? If it had only dropped to #2, that theory would have been plausible, but the other 3 songs ahead of it couldn't have been removed. Of course, if ACR had been in effect, its run would have been cut to 9 weeks... Edited October 4, 20177 yr by vidcapper
October 4, 20177 yr yeah had it fallen 1-2 then maybe... but 1-5 is such a big drop that it seems unlikely
October 4, 20177 yr I do understand the question though... If people weren't streaming Cold Water would they still have been streaming One Dance?
October 4, 20177 yr One Dance was still #2 on streaming when Cold Water entered at #1, so I doubt the outcome would've changed at all! It was a good 5k behind Jonas Blue at #2 that week, which is too big a gap I'd say.
October 4, 20177 yr Author This was 2-4 the week One Dance dropped from 1-5 2) Jonas Blue feat JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers 3) Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own 4) The Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down
