Back in August, Warner Music/East West confirmed that Sheridan Smith had signed a record deal with them. Roll forward a couple of months and Sheridan's debut album is due for release at the start of November. The album is a collection of covers from Sheridan's favourite musicals and some pop classics thrown in for good measure.

Her version of Anyone Who Had A Heart *.*
As IF she has an ITV special! *_* And I cannot believe the 'Legally Blonde' snubs :( Kinda interested to hear this but I'm very disappointed that there isn't a single original song.
That album cover is giving me all the Elaine Paige in the 80s teas. In a good way.
This is going to be a steady seller over Q4, isn't it? :o Good for her. I always thought she had a nice voice even by the Two Pints musical special. she seems like such a lovely lady too, so I'm willing her to be successful.

Sheridan is due to perform on the 'Strictly' results show on Sunday. She will be singing 'My Man' from her new album which was in the film 'Funny Girl', but not the show.

Excellent on Strictly, I'd never heard her sing before.

I don't like the handwritten style font on the album cover. At first glance, it looks like 8 hen dan.

I actually think she might be a commercial success. She has a nice voice and if given the right promotion, the album could sell reasonably well upto Christmas.
Does the world REALLY need ANOTHER cover of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going"? :puke2:

#9 in the Album Chart this week which isn't bad for its first week. ITV have just repeated her special too.
She looked rough as on her ITV special.
